“I DIDN’T KNOW” will this be a valid excuse?

I remember years ago when I was working at the sheriff’s office, I was speaking to someone about the scriptures, when another person approached us and said “What are you all talking about?” I replied, “We are talking about the scriptures!” and he said “Ohhh, no! I don’t want to hear any of that because if I do then I will be held accountable for it.” I told him, “That your ignorance of the scriptures is not going to help you on judgment day.” So, before I get into the scripture proof, I would like to use a practical example to make my point.

Let’s say you are driving a car full speed and run a stop sign and in the process of running that stop sign you smash into another car and injure or kill the family that was in it. Do you think telling the police officer or the judge “I didn’t see the stop sign” is going to excuse you for “breaking the law?” Absolutely not! You will receive a ticket and  have to pay for the damages of the car and depending on if there are injuries you will have to compensate them for the hospital bills and time lost at work etc.; and if life is lost then you could be facing manslaughter charges.. The point is that in this situation the judge is not going to reward you by sending you on a vacation to the Bahamas because you would already know that punishment is awaiting in one form or another. And the same thing applies when the laws of our Father YAHWEH are broken, you will not be rewarded nor receive a free pass for the transgressions. Therefore repentance is necessary, this is why the blood of YESHUA is necessary, because have all fallen short and need YESHUA’s blood to wipe the slate clean for us. There is a difference between willful transgression and ignorant transgression. The penalty for willful transgression is worse, but by no means does it pardon the ignorant party, they are still guilty.

Numbers 15:30-31 (Samaritan Pentateuch)

“And the soul who does anything DEFIANTLY, whether he is a citizen or a proselyte, that one is BLASHPHEMING YAHWEH, and that person shall be cut off from among her peoples. Because he has despised the word of YAHWEH and has broken His commandments, that soul shall be completely cut off, her guilt will be on her.”

Willful transgression against YAHWEH is equivalent to blasphemy and why the punishment is more severe. (See Hebrews 10:26-31).

Leviticus 5:17-18

“And if any person transgresses and commits any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of YAHWEH; though HE DOES NOT KNOW THAT HE HAS TRANGRESSED, YET HE IS GUILTY and shall suffer for his iniquity. And he shall bring to the priest a ram of value without blemish out of the flocks for a trespass offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him for his IGNORANCE IN ERRING, even though HE KNEW IT NOT, and it shall be forgiven him.”

The priest had to make atonement for their ignorant transgression because they were still guilty and YAHWEH forgave them, in like manner YESHUA is our High Priest who died for us all and forgave the transgressions we have committed. But as you can see them not knowing they transgressed did not pardon them, it was still a transgression.

Romans 2:12 (Complete Jewish Bible)

“All who have transgressed outside the framework of Torah will die outside the framework of Torah; and all who have transgressed within the framework of Torah will be judged by Torah.”

What is Paul saying here? He is saying that those who are unbelievers, those who lived as pagans and never kept the laws of YAHWEH are still going to be punished on judgement day, they do not get a pass for being rejecting His ways! And let’s be honest, YESHUA tells us that the Good News will be preached to the four corners of the earth as a witness to all people, so in other words no one will be without excuse.

Matthew 24:14

“And this Good News of the kingdom shall be preached throughout the world as a TESTIMONY to ALL THE NATIONS; then the end will come.”

In summary Paul is saying that those who were walking with YAHWEH and were keeping the commandments of the Torah will be judged on how they obeyed the Torah, whether they were hearers or doers of the word and those who transgressed while not keeping the Torah will perish without it.

Luke 12:47-48 (Aramaic Peshitta)

“And the servant who knows the wishes of his master, and does not make ready according to his wishes, will receive a SEVERE BEATING. But he who DOES NOT KNOW, and does what is worthy of punishment will receive a LESS BEATING.”

What is being conveyed is that those who know the truth but willfully disobey will face a harsher judgment because more expected out of them. Those who had access to the scriptures, attended assemblies, and had more resources available to them. These are supposed to know better and lived their lives accordingly. However; notice how the one who DID NOT KNOW is still punished even though less severe than the one who knows better? The point is that their ignorance or outright rejecting the truth will not excuse anyone. An example of an honest ignorant transgression is striving to obey the commandments of the Torah and then finding out that being drunk is a transgression. He or she is still guilty of being drunk but being that he or she did not know they will be forgiven. But if he goes out and gets drunk after knowing its wrong it becomes a willful transgression. On judgment day YESHUA will decide each case righteously as He knows the intention of the heart and everyone’s situation by His mercy, I’m not the judge, I just want to make it known that ignorance does not go unpunished.

2 Kings 17:24-28 (Aramaic Peshitta)

“And the king of Assyria brought people from Babylon and from Cuth and from Ava and from Hamath and from Sepharvim, and settled them in the cities of Samaria, and dwelt in the cities thereof. And at the beginning of their dwelling there, they did NOT REVERENCE YAHWEH; therefore YAHWEH sent lions amongst them, which slew some of them. Therefore they told the king of Assyria, saying, The nations which you have carried captive and placed in the cities of Samaria DO NOT KNOW THE RELIGION OF THE ELOHIM of the land; therefore He has sent lions against them, and, behold, they slay them because THEY DO NOT KNOW THE RELIGION OF THE ELOHIM of the land. Then the king of Assyria commanded, saying, take there one of the priests whom you have carried away from there; and let him go and dwell there, and let him teach the RELIGION OF THE ELOHIM OF THE LAND. Then one of the priests whom they had carried away from Samaria came and dwelt in Beth-El, and TAUGHT THEM HOW THEY SHOULD WORSHIP YAHWEH.”

Notice how YAHWEH showed no partiality towards those who DID NOT know His commandments and killed some of them? His mercy allowed for those who did not know to have a chance to learn His ways. The king of Assyria had a priest that was carried captive to come back to the land of Samaria to teach the people the commandments of YAHWEH. In like manner, YESHUA has sent His servants into the world today to teach those who do not know Him and His ways.

2 Corinthians 5:10-11

“For we must all appear before the Messiah’s court of judgment, where everyone will receive the good or bad consequences of what he did while he was in the body. So it is with the fear of YAHWEH before us that we TRY TO PERSUADE PEOPLE.”

Wisdom 13:6-8

“But yet for this they are to be blamed less; for they perhaps err, seeking ELOHIM and desirous to find him. For being conversant in his works they search him diligently and believe their sight: because the things are beautiful that are seen. Nevertheless neither ARE THEY TO BE PARDONED.”

The context here is those who worshipped idols were seeking for ELOHIM and thought they found Him in a carved idol. They will be blamed less for their ignorance but will still not be pardoned for their deeds because an idol was created by humans hands and has now power. There is only one way to the Father and that is through His Son YESHUA (John 14:6).

2 Peter 3:9

“YAHWEH is not negligent concerning His promises, as some men count negligence; but is longsuffering toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that ALL should COME TO REPENTANCE.”

It’s YAHWEH’s will that none should perish and this is the reason why He sent His Son YESHUA to die for us all because He loves us. In the end willful transgression against Him leads to death, just as staying ignorant of His ways or rejecting Him will also lead to death. The final destination will be fire, so don’t be like the person I mentioned earlier who “chose” to remain ignorant thinking he was saving himself from danger, as we can see that is not true.

We have been given a gift to help us along the way and we must do is die to self and be led by the Set-Apart Spirit and let Him lead us into ALL truth:

John 16:13

“But when the RUACH (SPIRIT) of truth will come, He will teach you ALL TRUTH. For He will not speak of His own heart, only the words which He hears He will speak, and make known to you those words.”

The Garden of Eden and New Jerusalem!

This is a beautiful prophecy of what is to come for the righteous! Is there any connection between the Garden of Eden and the New Jerusalem? 

Revelation 21:1-3 (Hebrew)

“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away; and the first sea was no more. And I John saw the set-apart city, the NEW JERUSALEM descending from the heaven to the earth, and it was adorned like a wife who is adorned before her husband. And I heard a great voice from the throne which said, “Look! The Tabernacle of YAHWEH is with man, and He will be ELOHIM to them, and they will be a people to Him! And YAHWEH ELOHIM wipe will off the tears from all faces, and the death will no longer reign, neither any suffering or outcries or affliction, for the former has passed by!’

So we see that eternal life begins when the New Jerusalem comes down from heaven on the 8th day after the 1,000 reign of YESHUA, and all things will be made new and there will be no more death or pain.

2 Corinthians 12:1-4 (Complete Jewish Scriptures)

“I have to boast. There is nothing to be gained by it, but I will go on to visions and revelations of the Master. I know a man in union with the Messiah who fourteen years ago was snatched up to the THIRD HEAVEN; whether he was in the body or outside the body I don’t know, ELOHIM knows. And I know that such a man---whether in the body or apart from the body I don’t know, ELOHIM knows--- was snatched into GAN-‘EDEN and heard things that cannot be put into words, things unlawful for a human being to utter.”

Complete Jewish Scriptures definition of “Gan-Eden” is (PARADISE)—literally, “GARDEN OF EDEN”; in Judaism the term also refers to PARADISE, Luke 23:43.

So as we see, Paul connects the Garden of Eden (Paradise) with heaven which we know is eternal life.

Eden in Hebrew is spelled: Ayin, Dalet, Nun

Ayin is a picture of an eye to see, watch, or know

Dalet is a picture of a door or entrance

Nun is a picture of a seed and means life, continuance, or offspring

When we combine these together for Eden we get a message: “We SEE the DOOR of CONTINUED LIFE.”

We see the door of continued life because those who are found worthy will enter the Garden of Eden of continued life meaning eternity. Tying in everything we just covered above makes so much more sense when we read YESHUA’s words in the Hebrew.

Matthew 18:8-9 (Hebrewgospels.com)

“If your foot or your hand is the stumbling block, cut it off, or remove it far from you. For it is more fitting for you to enter (the door) into the GARDEN OF EDEN crippled, than walking in Gei-Hinnom with two hands or with two feet. And if your eye offends, uproot it and remove it far from you, for it is more fitting for you to enter into the GARDEN OF EDEN with one eye than into Gei-Hinnom with two.”

Mark 9:43-48 (Hebrewgospels.com)

“And if your hand offends, cut it off! For it is more appropriate for you to enter into the GARDEN OF EDEN with one hand, than into the fire of Gei-Hinnom with two, into a place where the viruses do not die, and the fire does not rest. And if your foot offends, cut if off! For it is more appropriate for you to enter into the GARDEN OF EDEN with one, than entering with two into Gei-Hinnom, into the place where the viruses do not die, and the fire does not rest and is not cut off. And if your eye offends, uproot it! For it is more appropriate for you to enter into the GARDEN OF EDEN with one eye, than into Gei-Hinnom with two, a place where the viruses do not die, and the fire is not quenched.”

Most translations say “Enter into Life” where Garden of Eden is written in the Hebrew version, so its obvious YESHUA is connecting The Garden of Eden with eternal life which comes with the New Jerusalem from above. Dan one of the sons of Jacob from the 12 Patriarchs writings from the Dead Sea Scrolls says plainly that the New Jerusalem and the Garden of Eden are COMBINED; and that YAHWEH will be in the midst of it and living among men.

Testament of Dan 5:11-13

“And He will take the captivity from Beliyya’al and turn disobedient hearts to YAHWEH, and give ETERNAL PEACE to them that call upon Him. And the set-apart ones will rest in EDEN, and the righteous will rejoice in the NEW JERUSALEM, and it will be to the esteem of ELOHIM forever. And no longer will Jerusalem endure desolation, nor Yisra’el be led captive. For YAHWEH will be in the midst of it, living among men, and the Set-Apart One of Yisra’el will reign over it.”

.Dan understood what the reward was and also understood that YAHWEH would dwell amongst us forever, which matches:

Revelation 21:3 (Hebrew)

The Tabernacle of YAHWEH is with man, and He will be ELOHIM to them, and they will be a people to Him! And YAHWEH ELOHIM will wipe off the tears from all faces, and the death will no longer reign, neither any suffering or outcries or affliction, for the former has passed by!’

2 Esdras 8:51-55 (Parenthesis mine)

“But think of your own case, and inquire concerning the esteem of those who are like yourself, because it is for you that PARADISE (GARDEN OF EDEN) is opened (like dalet the door opened in the word Eden), the TREE OF LIFE is planted, the WORLD TO COME IS PREPARED, delight is provided, A CITY IS BUILT (NEW JERSUALEM), rest is appointed (eternal life), goodness is established and wisdom is perfected beforehand. The root of evil is sealed up from you, illness is banished from you, and death is hidden; hell has fled, and corruption has been forgotten sorrows have passed away, and in the end the treasure of IMMORTALITY is made manifest. Therefore, do not ask any more questions about the multitude of those who perish.”

Then we see in Chapter 10 that Ezra was able to walk in the vision of the New Jerusalem, but I’ll start with the context that began in Chapter 9.

2 Esdras 9:23-25

“But if you will let seven days more pass-do not fast during them, however; but go into a field of flowers where NO HOUSE HAS BEEN BUILT, and eat only of the flowers of the field, and taste no meat and drink no wine, but eat only flowers and pray to the Most High continually-then I will come and talk with you.”

 Ezra did as the malach (angel) Uriel instructed him, then a woman appeared to Ezra and she was mourning over her son. Ezra begins to comfort the woman and he goes on to explain to her about the many lives lost during the destruction of the Temple. Then something happens:

2 Esdras 10:25-56

“And it came to pass, while I was talking to her, behold her face suddenly shone exceedingly, and her countenance flashed like lightning, so that I was too frightened to approach her, and my heart was terrified. While I was wondering what this meant, behold, she suddenly uttered a loud and fearful cry, so that the earth shook at her voice. And I looked, and behold, the woman was NO LONGER VISIBLE TO ME, BUT THERE WAS AN ESTABLISHED CITY, and a place of huge foundations (Revelation 21:14) showed itself. Then I was afraid, and cried out with a loud voice and said, “Where is the angel Uriel, who came to me at first? For it was he who brought me into this overpowering bewilderment; my end has become corruption and my prayer a reproach.” Verse 49 “And behold, you saw her likeness, how she mourned for her son, and you began to console her for what happened. For now the Most High, seeing that you are sincerely grieved and profoundly distressed for her (Zion), has shown you the brilliance of her esteem, and the loveliness of her beauty. Therefore I told you to remain in the field where no house had been built (2 Esdras 9:23), for I knew that the Most High would REVEAL all things to you. Therefore I told you to go into the place where there was NO FOUNDATION OF ANY BUILDING FOR NO WORK OF MAN’S BUILDING COULD ENDURE IN A PLACE WHERE THE CITY OF THE MOST HIGH WAS TO BE REVEALED. Therefore do not be afraid, and do not let your heart be terrified; but go in and see the splendor and vastness of the building, as far as it is possible for your eyes to see it, and afterward you will hear as much as your ears can hear.”

Ezra had to go into a field where no buildings built by a human was, because YAHWEH could not reveal the New Jerusalem to him amongst man’s structures, this shows how kodesh (set-apart) YAHWEH is. And afterwards, Ezra was able to walk around the New Jerusalem to see what the inheritance of the righteous looks like. But, was Ezra the only one to see the city?

2 Baruch 4:1-4:7 (Parenthesis mine)

“And YAHWEH said to me: “This city (Referring to destruction of 2nd Temple in Jerusalem) is delivered up for a time, and the people are chastised during a time (70 years of Babylonian captivity), and the world is not forgotten. Or do you perhaps think that this is the city about which I said: On the palms of My hands I have inscribed you. (Isaiah 49:16). This building that is now built (physical Jerusalem) is not the one revealed with Me (New Jerusalem), the one ALREADY prepared here when I intended to make PARADISE and I showed it to Adam before he transgressed, but when he transgressed the commandment, it was taken away from him (New Jerusalem), as was also Paradise (Garden of Eden). And after these things, I showed it to my servant Abraham, by night, between the halves of the sacrifices.”

YAHWEH showed the New Jerusalem to Abraham when He passed between the halves of the sacrifices when He made a covenant with him.

Genesis 15:7-10, 17-28

“An He said to him, I am YAHWEH, who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans, to give you this land to inherit it. And Abram said, O YAHWEH ELOHIM, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it? And He said to him, take for yourself a heifer, three years old, a three year old ram, a three year old she-goat, a pigeon, and a young dove. And he took to himself all these and cut them in two, and laid each piece against another; but the birds he did not divide.” Verse 17-21 “And it came to pass that when the sun had set and it was dark, behold there appeared a smoking furnace and burning torch that passed between those PIECES. On that day YAHWEH made a covenant with Abram, saying, to your descendants have I given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the river Euphrates…”

Abraham was shown the reward and I believe that is why he was looking for a city not built by human hands as we read in Hebrews.

Hebrews 11:8-10 (Parenthesis mine)

“By trust Abraham, when he was called to depart for the land which he was to receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing where he was going. By trust he became a sojourner in the land which was promised him as in a strange country, and he dwelt in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise; for he looked for a CITY WHICH HAS FOUNDATIONS (NEW JERUSALEM), WHOSE BUILDER AND MAKER IS ELOHIM.”

2 Baruch continued: “And furthermore, I also showed it to Moses on Mount Sinai when I showed him the likeness of the tabernacle and of all its implements. And now, see, IT  (New Jerusalem) is preserved with Me, as is also Paradise (Garden of Eden).”

Jubilees 1:4

“And Moses was on the Mount forty days and forty nights, and YAHWEH taught him WHAT WAS AND WHAT WILL BE, and the division of all the days of the Torah and of the witness.”

Exodus 25:40

“And see that you make them after the same pattern which I have shown you on the Mountain.”

 Hebrews 8:5

“Now above all we have a High Priest who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven; and He has become the Minister of the sanctuary and of the TRUE TABERNACLE which ELOHIM pitched and not man. For every high priest is appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices, therefore it is necessary that this man have something to offer also. For if He were on earth, He would not be a priest, because there are priests who offer gifts according to the law, who serve the semblance and SHADOW OF HEAVENLY THINGS, just as it was commanded to Moses when he was about to make the tabernacle: See that you make all things according to the pattern showed to you in the Mount.”

When YAHWEH showed Moses how to make the tabernacle in the likeness of the one that is in the heavens on Mount Sinai, He also showed Moses the New Jerusalem and Garden of Eden. Therefore, Moses knew to forsake the riches in Egypt and to look forward to the reward of the New Jerusalem to come, which is the same hope and reward that we look forward to as the bride of YESHUA!

Hebrews 11:24-26

“By trust Moses, when he came to manhood, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of ELOHIM than to enjoy the pleasures of iniquity for a short while. And he reasoned that the reproach of Messiah was greater riches than the treasures of Egypt, for he LOOKED FORWARD TO RECEIVE THE REWARD.”

2 Baruch 51:8-11

“For they will see that world which is now INVISBILE TO THEM (New Jerusalem), and they will see a time which is now HIDDEN FROM THEM. And time will no longer make them older. For on the summits of that world they will live, and they will be like the malachim (angels), and they will be deemed equal to the stars. They will change themselves into any shape they wish, from comeliness into beauty and from light into esteemed splendor. There the EXPANSES OF PARADISE (Garden of Eden) will be spread out before them. And they will be shown the comeliness of the majesty of the living creatures that are beneath the throne, as well as all the armies of malachim (angels) who are now held by My word, lest they reveal themselves, and who are held by the command, that they stand in their places until their advent come. And then the righteous will be more excellent than the angels.”

Tree of Life connection:

Isaiah 46:10

“Declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure…”

YAHWEH has declared the end from the beginning, which includes being restored back to the Garden of Eden where everything began for Adam and Eve. Life began for man in the Garden of Eden and it will be the beginning of a eternal life returning back to the Garden of Eden.

Another connection I would like to make is that the tree of Life was in the Garden of Eden in the beginning and is also seen the New Jerusalem.

Genesis 2:9

“And out of the ground YAHWEH ELOHIM, made to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food, the TREE OF LIFE also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.”

Revelation 22:1-2

“Then he showed me a stream which was full of living waters, and it was pure like crystal, coming out of the throne of YAHWEH and the Lamb. And in the midst of the plains even beside the stream, there grew up on its bank --- on this side and on that side – every tree of food, even the TREE OF LIFE. And on it were twelve kinds of fruit, and its fruit was for food, and its foliage for healing.”

2 Esdras 8:52

“Because it is for you that PARADISE (Garden of Eden) is opened, THE TREE OF LIFE IS PLANTED…”

The Tree of Life is in the Garden of Eden which connects it to eternal life, but through the disobedience of Adam and Eve iniquity and death came into the world.

Genesis 3:1-7

“Now the serpent was more subtle than all the wild beasts that YAHWEH ELOHIM had made. And the serpent said to the woman, Truly has ELOHIM said that you shall not eat of any tree of the garden? And the woman said to the serpent, we may eat of the fruit of all the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, ELOHIM has said, you shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest you die. And the serpent said to the woman, you shall not surely die; For ELOHIM knows that in the day you eat of it, your eyes shall be opened, and you shall be like mighty ones, knowing good and evil. So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and that the tree was delightful to look at, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and she also gave to her husband with her; and he did eat. Then the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.”

Genesis 3:22

“Then YAHWEH ELOHIM said, behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil; and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and LIVE FOREVER.

Wisdom 2:23-24

“For ELOHIM created man to be IMMORTAL and made him to be an image of His own ETERNITY. Nevertheless through the envy of Satan death came into the world: and those that take his side find it.”

So Adam and Eve went from being immortal to mortal on the day they ate the forbidden fruit; therefore, YAHWEH had to put them out of the garden and Enoch goes deeper as to why.

Enoch 25:1-7

“And he said to me, “Enoch, why do you ask me regarding the fragrance of the tree (Tree of Life), and why do you desire to learn the truth? Then I answered him saying, “I desire to know about everything, but especially this TREE. And he answered saying, “This high mountain which you have seen, whose summit is like the throne of the Master, is His throne, where the Set-Apart Great One, the Master of Esteem, the Eternal King, will sit, when He shall come down to visit the earth with goodness. And as for this fragrant tree NO MORTAL IS PERMITTED TO TOUCH IT until the great judgment, when He shall take vengeance on all and bring everything to its consummation FOREVER. It shall then be given to the righteous and set-apart. Its FRUIT shall be for FOOD TO THE ELECT: it shall be transplanted to the set-apart place, to the Temple of the Master, the Eternal King. Then shall they rejoice with joy and be glad, and they will enter into the set-apart place. And its fragrance shall be in their bones, and they will live a long life on earth, such as your fathers lived. And in their days shall no sorrow or plague or torment or calamity touch them. Then I blessed the Master of Esteem, the Eternal King, who has prepared such things for the righteous, and has created them and promised to give to them.”

No mortal can touch the Tree of Life, and this is the reason why Adam and Eve were banished from the Garden of Eden because they went from being immortal to mortal after eating the fruit. But as stated in Enoch 25, the righteous will be able eat the fruit of the Tree of Life just as it was in the beginning, which matches the words of YESHUA:

Revelation 2:6-7 (Hebrew)

“Whosoever has ears must hear what the RUACH (Spirit) says to the assembly. Whosoever overcomes, will EAT FROM THE TREE OF LIFE, WHICH IS IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN.”

Revelation 22:14 (Hebrew)

“Blessed are they who do His commandments, that they may have part in the TREE OF LIFE, and be pure to walk in the CITY (New Jerusalem).

Testament of Levi 18:10-11 (Parenthesis mine)

“And He will open the gates (Dalet the door) of PARADISE (The Garden of Eden), and will remove the threatening sword against Adam. And He will give to the set-apart ones to EAT FROM THE TREE OF LIFE, and the Spirit of Set-Apartness will be on them.” And Beliyya’al will be bound by Him, and He will give power to His children to tread upon the evil spirits. And YAHWEH will rejoice in His children, and be well-pleased in His beloved ones forever. Then will Abraham and Isaac, and Jacob rejoice, and I will be glad, and all the set-apart ones will clothe themselves with joy!”

This is eternity/immortality because we just read that no mortal can touch the Tree of Life, but the righteous who will be immortal will be eating from the Tree of life as they will be permitted to touch and eat from it. Also, YESHUA says Tree of Life is in the Garden of Eden in Revelation 2, then He says in Revelation 22:14 to keep the commandments to have a part of the Tree of Life and walk in the City which is a reference to the New Jerusalem, so He connects the New Jerusalem and the Garden of Eden together as outlined in this message. Keep clinging to YESHUA and endure by His mercy and look forward to the reward to come as our ancestors did, and that is to be with our ELOHIM forever in the Garden of Eden the New Jerusalem.

Prophecy proves the Bible is REAL!

Isaiah 46:10

“Declaring the END from the BEGINNING and from ancient times the things that ARE NOT YET DONE, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure…”

No one knows the day or the hour when YESHUA will return; however, we can look at all the signs around us and know that the prophecies in scripture are playing out right before our eyes. We have seen past events that were prophesied in scripture that came to pass and are now historical facts. There are many people who are lukewarm followers of YESHUA today with one foot in the world and one foot serving YESHUA, so with all of these prophecies coming to pass it’s time to stop playing “church” and fully commit to YAHWEH now! And for the atheists and unbelievers who say the Bible is just an archaic book written by men and is a fairytale, then why is the Bible which you claim to be fake fulfilling prophecy before your eyes? If the Bible was fake why are some of the prophesies stated in the Bible that came to pass now documented as history? Wouldn’t a Creator who created the heavens, the earth, the sea and all that is in them know ALL things beforehand? This is a plea for the lukewarm Christian, the unbelievers, the atheist and those who reject YESHUA to wake up, repent, and fully commit themselves to Him.

There are many events that can be mentioned; however, this is not an exhaustive list because my goal is to point out current examples that are currently happening that the Bible has already predicted, and list some past events that were predicted that are documented as historical facts and include links to videos and articles that can be viewed.

1.      The Euphrates River is drying up just as the Bible said it would: The book of Revelation was written by John the disciple of YESHUA between 94-96 AD and yet in our lifetime we are seeing this prophecy being fulfilled.

Revelation 16:12 “Then the sixth malach (angel) poured out his bowl upon the great river EUPHRATES; and its WATERS DRIED UP, that the way of the king of the East might be prepared.”

2 Peter 1:21

“For the PROPHECY did not come by the will of man, but set-apart men of ELOHIM spoke when they were inspired by the THE SET-APART SPIRIT.”

2.      Destruction of the 2nd Temple: YESHUA prophesied about the destruction of second temple that would occur in 70 A.D. which occurred AFTER His death, resurrection, and ascension into heaven. The destruction of the second temple by the Romans is a well-documented historical fact.

Matthew 24:1-2

 “And YESHUA went out of the Temple to go away; and His disciples came up to Him, and were showing Him the building of the Temple. But He said to them, Behold, do you not see all of these? Truly I say to you, not a stone shall be left here upon another stone, which will not be torn down.”

3.      Prophecy of a THIRD TEMPLE: The first Temple was built by king Solomon around 960 BC and was destroyed by the Babylonians in 586 BC as the Jews were carried captive into Babylon for 70 years.

Jeremiah 52:12-13
“Now in the fifth month, on the tenth day of the month, which was the nineteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, Nebuzaradan, the general of the guard, came and stood before the king of Babylon to serve him in Jerusalem; and he burned the HOUSE OF YAHWEH and the house of the king of Judah and all the houses of Jerusalem and all the houses of the princes he burned with fire.”

So, the first temple was destroyed in 586 BC, then the Jews returned from Babylonian exile to build the second temple at the command of King Cyrus in Ezra Chapter 1, this ties into the second bullet point above that YESHUA prophesied that the second temple would be destroyed, and it was in 70 AD. Now there are talks about a third temple being built in Israel and those talks have been a hot topic ever since the arrival of the 5 red heifers were brought there. Paul writes in:

2 Thessalonians 2:1-4

“But in connection with the coming of our Master YESHUA the Messiah and our gathering together to meet Him, we ask you, brothers, not to be easily shaken in your thinking or anxious because of a spirit or a spoken message or a letter supposedly from us claiming that the Day of YAHWEH has already come. Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way. For the Day will not come until after the Apostasy has come and the MAN who separates himself from Torah HAS BEEN REVEALED (Anti-Messiah), the one destined for doom. He will oppose himself to everything that people call elohim or make an object of worship; he will put himself above them all, so that he will SIT IN THE TEMPLE OF ELOHIM AND PROCLAIM THAT HE HIMSELF IS ELOHIM.”

This is a prophecy, because for the anti-messiah to sit in the temple and claim that he is the creator of the heavens and earth, he has to have a temple to sit in which is the third temple. And this also is playing out right before our eyes:

4.      Prophecy of war and plagues:
Matthew 24:6-8
“You will hear of wars and setting out of wars, take heed that you are not terrified, it is obligated that these troubles must come, but it will not yet be the end. One people will rise up against another, and one kingdom against another. And there will be plagues and earthquakes, and commotion on the earth. And these things will be the beginning of the pains.”

 Everyone is already familiar with the Russia and Ukraine situation and the talks bout a World War 3 are heating up; furthermore, He said that there would be plagues and without getting into the origins of Covid we know that is has been labeled a “pandemic” which has been ongoing since 2019 and has mutated into many variants, which has resulted in sickness, death, which has resulted in a “shot” to fix the problem. 5.      Sodom and Gomorrah still in ruins: Lastly, is more undeniable evidence that the scriptures are true and this is the account in Genesis 19. Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed because of their great transgressions of homosexuality that is greatly celebrated in this world today.

Genesis 19:4-28

 “But before they lay down, the men of the city, that is, the men of Sodom, surrounded the house, both young and old, all the people of the town; and they called to Lot and said to him, where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may know them. And Lot went out at the door after him. And Lot said to them, I pray you, my brethren, do not so wickedly.” The result of their activity is recorded starting with verse 23 “The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Zoar. Then YAHWEH rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the presence of YAHWEH out of heaven; and He overthrew those cities and all the plain and all the inhabitants of the region and that which grew on the ground. But his wife looked back from behind him and she became a pillar of salt. And Abraham rose up early in the morning and went to the place where he had stood before YAHWEH; and he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah and toward all the region of the plain, and beheld, lo, the SMOKE OF THE COUNTRY WENT UP like the smoke of a furnace.”

 “Laying it waste with brimstone and with scorched salt, that the whole land is not sown, nor any grass grows in it, LIKE THE OVERTHROW OF SODOM AND GOMORRAH, Admah and Zeboim, which YAHWEH overthrew in His anger and in His wrath.”

We see that prophecy is happening during our lifetime and we see that prophecy predicted in the past is documented as historical facts, which all prove the authenticity of the Bible and shows that there is a Creator! His Name is YAHWEH, and He sent His Son YESHUA to die for us all which is another prophecy that happened, and I have done many messages on this topic.

Should you celebrate Hanukkah?

 Hanukkah aka the Feast of Dedication is supposed to commemorate the Maccabean victory over the Greeks in 165 BC, and candles are lit for 8 days to represent the oil miraculously lasting for 8 days although there wasn’t enough to do so. Is this true? And is this a day that we should be celebrating as followers of YESHUA? Many believers will celebrate this day because they say that YESHUA celebrated it. Is this true? Let’s examine the scriptures.
John 10:22-23 (Most translations)

“At that time the Hanukkah (Feast of Dedication) came to be in Jerusalem, and it was winter and YESHUA was walking in the Set-Apart Place, in the porch of Solomon.”

“These things were said in Jerusalem, and it was winter. As YESHUA was walking in the Sanctuary in the porch of Shelomo (Solomon)…”

As we can see from the authentic Hebrew manuscript that “Hanukkah” is not mentioned and therefore shows that YESHUA did not celebrate it. This was the one scripture that believers heavily rely upon to support their celebration of this day. Furthermore, reading 2 Maccabees you will notice something that will immediately jump out at you and will lead you to look further into it.

2 Maccabees 1:9

“And now see that you keep the Sukkot in the month of Kislev.”

Why is this so important? Sukkot is on the 15th Day of the 7th month on YAHWEH’s calendar, but Kislev which is a Babylonian name is in the 9th month. So how can Sukkot be celebrated in the 9th month when we are commanded to celebrate it in the 7th month? An article from “My Jewish Learning” will reveal the true origin of Hanukkah and show that once again that believers are walking in the traditions of men.

The First Hanukkah

It was actually a Sukkot celebration.

“In addition to the victory parades of the ancient Maccabees that celebrated their political independence, the original holiday also took the form of a Temple rededication ceremony. In the Second Book of the Maccabees, which quotes from a letter sent circa 125 BCE from the Hasmoneans to the leaders of Egyptian Jewry, the holiday is called “The festival of Sukkot celebrated in the month of Kislev,” (9th month in November/December) RATHER than Tishrei (7th month), which usually falls in September. Since the Jews were still in caves fighting as guerrillas on Tishrei (7th month), 164 BCE, they could not properly honor the eight-day holiday of Sukkot (and Shemini Atzeret) The 8th Day Closing Assembly, which is a Temple holiday; hence it was postponed until after the recapture of Jerusalem and the purification of the Temple.

This — not the Talmudic legend of the cruse of oil — explains the eight day length of Hanukkah . The use of candles may reflect the later reported tradition of Simchat Beit HaShoava (water-drawing festival),the all-night dancing in the Temple on Sukkot, which required tall outdoor lamps to flood light on the dance floor of the Temple courtyard.

They celebrated it for eight days with gladness like Sukkot and RECALLED how a little while before, during Sukkot they had been wandering in the mountains and caverns like wild animals. So carrying lulavs [palm branches waved on Sukkot]…they offered hymns of praise (perhaps, the Hallel prayer) to ELOHIM  who had brought to pass the purification of his own place. (II Maccabees 10:6-7)

The connection between Sukkot and Hanukkah  goes beyond the ACCIDENT of a postponed Sukkot celebration. Sukkot is the holiday commemorating not only the wandering of the Jews in the desert in makeshift huts but the end of that trek with the dedication of the First Temple (i.e. the permanent Bayit/ Home of God in Jerusalem by King Solomon circa 1000 BCE).”

My brothers and sisters Hanukkah is a DISGUISED REPACKAGED SUKKOT and this is the reason why it is celebrated for 8 days just as Sukkot is along with the 8th day Closing Assembly! We saw from the article that they postponed Sukkot and moved it to the 25th day of the 9th month as a makeup day for those who were unable to celebrate it at its appointed time in the 7th month. So, even though the day has been named “Hanukkah” which means “Dedication” it is nothing more than a SECOND SUKKOT. Furthermore, nowhere in scripture has our Father YAHWEH given a makeup day for SUKKOT as He has done for Passover.

Numbers 9:1-11

“YAHWEH spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai in the first month of the second year after the children of Yisra’el had come out of the land of Egypt, saying, Let the children of Yisra’el keep the Passover at its appointed time. On the fourteenth day of this month in the evening, you shall keep it at its appointed time; according to all its rites, and according to all its ceremonies, shall you keep it. And Moses told the children of Yisra’el that they should keep the Passover. And they kept the Passover on the fourteenth day of the first month, at evening, in the wilderness of Sinai; according to all that YAHWEH commanded Moses, so did the children of Yisra’el. And there were certain men who were defiled by touching the dead body of a man so that they could not keep the Passover on that day; and they came before Moses and before Aaron on that day. And those men said unto them, we are defiled by touching the dead body of a man; why are we kept back from offering the offering of YAHWEH at the appointed time among the children of Yisra’el? And Moses said to them, Stay where you are, and I will hear what YAHWEH will command concerning you. And YAHWEH spoke to Moses, saying, speak to the children of Yisra’el and say to them, If any man of you or of your posterity shall be unclean by touching a dead body, or is on a journey afar off, yet he shall keep the Passover to YAHWEH. On the fourteenth day of the SECOND MONTH at the evening they shall keep it, and shall eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.”

As recorded in scripture YAHWEH gives a makeup day for Passover on the fourteenth day of the second month exactly one month later for anyone who is unclean or away on a long journey, this same command is not given for any other appointed time; therefore, how did they have the authority to set aside a makeup day for Sukkot in those days? And why is that makeup day of Sukkot still be celebrated to this very day under the name of Hanukkah.

So, technically those who are celebrating Hanukkah are celebrating 2 SUKKOTS in a year  when we are only commanded to keep ONE and again would qualify as following the traditions of men. Instead of calling it “Second Sukkot” they gave it the name Hanukkah and it has remained that way for years. This is another example of what Jeroboam did:

1 Kings 12:28-33

“So the king (Jeroboam) took counsel, and made two calves of gold, and said to all Yisra’el, it is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem; behold your mighty ones, O Yisra’el, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt! And he set the one in Beth-el and the other he put in Dan. And this thing became a transgression; for the people went to worship before the one, even unto Dan. And he made a temple of idols, and made priests from among the people who were not of the sons of Levi. And Jeroboam made a feast in the eighth month, on the fifteenth day of the month, LIKE THE FEAST IN JUDAH (SUKKOT 15TH DAY OF 7TH MONTH), and he went up to the altar to offer sacrifices. So did he in Beth-el, sacrificing to the calves that he had made; and he appointed in Beth-el priests for the temples of idols which he had made. And he went to the altar which he had made in Beth-el, on the fifteenth day of the eighth month, even in the month which he had DEVISED OF HIS OWN HEART; and made a feast to the children of Yisra’el; and he went up to the altar to burn incense.”

Jeroboam committed great transgressions and one of them was creating his own festival on the 15th day of the 8th month which he devised of his own heart that mocked Sukkot which was exactly one month earlier. Now, the same thing is happening with Sukkot again, accept this time it’s called Hanukkah a second Sukkot, if it was a transgression with Jeroboam then it’s a transgression today. No one has the authority to change, move, or rename the appointed times of YAHWEH. No matter how good it looks on the outside you must not be deceived! Yes, the Maccabees did some good, but they also did not always do the right thing; for example they illegitimacy usurped the priesthood that belonged to the sons of Zadok and the kingship then they combined them together. The office of priests and kings were always separate in Yisra’el, and we know the priesthood belonged to the Levites, so how could the Maccabees who were Jews be priests? This is the same transgression that Jeroboam committed. Brittanica.com writes “Maccabees, also spelled Machabees, (flourished 2nd century BCE, Palestine), PRIESTLY FAMILY OF JEWS who organized a successful rebellion against the Seleucid ruler Antiochus IV and reconsecrated the defiled Temple of Jerusalem.” That same bad decision of usurping the priesthood rolled over into making a second sukkot.

In an article written by “Rabbi” Arthur O. Waskow he states “Moreover, if Hanukkah is not merely a solstice but a darkness festival, then the 25th of Kislev is the perfect time. In some years, the solstice day itself would be a night of bright full moon–especially powerful in an agrarian (agricultural)-pastoral culture with few artificial lights. So even the solstice itself would feel less like the darkest day of the year on such a moonlit night. By setting Hanukkah on the 25th of the month, the Jews made sure that the night would be dark. By setting it in Kislev, they made sure the day would be very short and the sun very dim.

It may even be that the Maccabees’ desire to celebrate a late Sukkot, or to celebrate this NEWLY Judaized solstice festival in ways reminiscent of Sukkot was tied to Sukkot’s earlier career as in part a festival of the sun. As we have seen in our examination of Sukkot, the Mishnah goes out of its way to preserve the memory that “Our forebears turned toward the East, to the Sun. . .” and the torches of Sukkot, juggled by the Levites as they danced through Jerusalem, may have been reminders of the sun.”

Michele Apirin adds “Given their ambivalence about the Maccabean victory, the Rabbis had a problem: What could they do about the popular holiday established by the Maccabees and celebrated each year on the 25th of Kislev? They could get rid of it, as they had done with other holidays instituted by the Maccabees and their descendants — after all, Hanukkah was not a holiday of biblical origin. Or they could transform the meaning of Hanukkah in line with their own theology, which is what they did.

The Rabbis’ first tack seems to have been to try to suppress the holiday altogether. The books of the Maccabees, which recount the historical events surrounding the genesis of Hanukkah, were not included in the biblical canon. (The books of First and Second Maccabees are still accessible today only because they were incorporated into Catholic and Orthodox Christian Bibles.) Among the Jews, these books are called sefarim hitzonim, external books, or in Greek, apocrypha, and the Rabbis expressed their opinions about such books in no uncertain terms in Mishnah Sanhedrin 10:1. Following a list of several categories of individuals “who have no share in the world to come,” Rabbi Akiva adds, “Also one who reads the external books….”

As you can see the bold statement by Akiva that those who read the missing books have no share in the world to come. That is because they know that once you read these books that you will know the truth and will not fall for the traditions of men and that is what I pray has been learned today by anyone who is watching. Let us continue to walk in the truth of what our Father YAHWEH has commanded and not men.

Halloween and superheroes!

Anton LaVey, the founder of the church of Satan said that: “by dressing up, either by wearing a costume or by coloring oneself in celebration of Halloween, signifies that you allow Satan to own you”. 

LaVey further says: “I am glad that Christian parents let their children worship the devil at least one night out of the year. Welcome to Halloween.”

On page 96 of the Satanic Bible, Anton LaVey wrote that “After one’s own birthday, the two major Satanic holidays are Walpurgisnacht (May 1st) and Halloween.”

Remember that Satan hates you and knows that we are created in the image of ELOHIM; therefore, when he sees us he is reminded of ELOHIM and he will do anything he can to make you change your identity into someone or something else other than whom you were created to be. You’re willfully giving Satan legal rights to you. Even if you dress up as an angel it will be a fallen angel, since that is the only type of angel that will participating in this day.

You cannot justify celebrating this day by calling it a Harvest festival, you certainly cannot Christianize a demonic day, that is like giving CPR to a mummy, trying to bring life to something that is dead. All you are doing is recreating pagan rituals and the Satanists of the world are laughing at those who call themselves Christians, why? Because sadly they know the scriptures better than the so-called believer.

No believer in YESHUA should ever be involved celebrating this wicked day of Satan at all, and I have talked about this several times in the past. I had to make a message because I heard more justification to celebrate this evil day from a pastor that said Halloween in itself is not bad as long as you don’t dress up and ghosts and zombies, but it’s absolutely okay for your children to dress up as a superhero! I guess these pastors feel that superheroes represent something good.

Firstly, superheroes are supposed to be “saviors of the world”! This clearly contradicts the scriptures that tell us  there is ONLY ONE SAVIOR OF THE WORLD and that is YESHUA! So why are you letting your child dress up as a false savior in order to justify celebrating this day?

“For this is the blood of the new, which is shed to atone for your iniquities.”

“For EL loves the world so much that He gave His Only Son-one alone begotten-to the world; in order that He who believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life. For ELOAH did not send His Son into the world in order to judge the world (that’s for the future) but in order that the world may be SAVED through Him.”

Mark 11:9-10 (Hebrew)

“And those who were walking before Him, and those who were following after Him cried out, and said, “Hoshi’einu blessed SAVIOR! Blessed is He comes in the Name of YAHWEH and blessed be the King who is a SAVIOR FROM THE HEAVENS!”

This is all designed to get your children to question whether there is more than one Savior. Think about it, just about every religion in the world is waiting for their version of a messiah which is a false messiah. I believe that these false deities being worshipped in all the false religions all over the world such as the Greek Pantheon are nothing more than fallen angels stemming from Genesis 6. I would like to examine an article about Superman and see if you still feel it is just an innocent comic book afterward. And one of the reasons I’ll discuss is hidden right in plain site which is why learning Hebrew, at least the basics are important. This guy does a great job breaking down the Superman movie that came out in the year he wrote the article which was in 2013 so I’ll list it below and add notes when necessary.

“The last son of Krypton, Kal-El, better known to you puny Earthlings as Superman, is making yet another appearance on the silver screen with “Man of Steel.” Having seen the film twice I’m here to answer your two biggest questions. Yes, the movie is a great deal of fun and, yes, Superman has just as much blatant religious symbolism as ever. But does the new Superman turn its cape on its Jewish past?

Finding Jewish roots in DC Comics’ “Big Blue Boy Scout” is not exactly a new avenue of scholarship. A quick look at Amazon.com will offer up books like “From Krakow to Krypton: Jews and Comic Books,” “Disguised as Clark Kent: Jews, Comics and the Creation of the Superhero,” “Superman is Jewish?: How Comic Book Superheroes Came to Serve Truth, Justice and the Jewish-American Way,” and, my personal favorite, “Up, Up and Oy Vey: How Jewish History, Culture, and Values Shaped the Comic Book Superhero.”

In case you’ve been living under a cultural rock, some quick facts. Superman was created in the 1930s by writer Jerry Siegel and artist Joe Shuster, two Jewish-American children of European refugees. Superman’s “old country” is Krypton, an advanced realm that ultimately destroyed itself. Superman’s real name is Kal-El, son of Jor-El. The suffix El, of course, means “of God” in Hebrew, with Kal-El defined by some as “Voice of God.” Before Krypton’s doom, Kal-El’s parents put him in a Moses-like basket, sending him down the Nile of intergalactic space until he landed safely on Earth.”

Exodus 2:2-3

“And the woman conceived and bore a son; and when she saw that he was a handsome boy, she hid him for three months. And when she could no longer hide him, she took for herself an ark made of acacia wood, and daubed it with slime and with pitch, and put the child into; and laid it among the reeds by the river’s bank.”

I would like to add that in the western world Kal is pronounced as if someone was to say CAL-lifornia, but in Hebrew it would be pronounced Kol, and “Kol” means voice in Hebrew as the article said! Furthermore when it comes to the transliteration of Hebrew words into English the letter “K” and the letter “Q” are interchangeable. For example, some spell The Set Apart Spirt as “RUACH HA’KODESH” and others as “RUACH HA’QODESH”.  So lets view an example to make sure Kol/Qol means voice:

So, remember the Q and K are interchangeable when pronouncing a word or name in Hebrew. And here in the Hebrew we see “BAT QOL/KOL” and in the footnote it says “A daughter of a VOICE,” the Hebrew way of saying, “a voice from heaven.” “Bat” means daughter in Hebrew and “Kol” means voice. So as we can see Superman’s name means “The Voice of EL”, so the question I ask is who is the real voice of EL?

Article continued: There, in the most goyische place ever (a farm in Kansas!) Kal-El assumes the secret identity of Clark Kent, and this “model minority” soon thrives in his new environment. The yellow sun’s radiation provides a source for him to “leap tall buildings in a single bound,” though for Siegel and Shuster it was meant to symbolize the freedom from pogroms and Nazism which allowed them to find safety and success.

The Moses metaphors and symbols of doomed Europe remain in “Man of Steel,” scripted by Jewish-American writer David Goyer. The planet’s expository scenes are told through morphing globs of silver, giving everything a very Art Deco/German Expressionist look.

I would comment on “Man of Steel” as we know that steel is supposed to represent strength and reliability and is defined by Cambridge dictionary as  A STRONG metal, that is a mixture of iron and carbon, used for making things that need a strong structure, especially vehicles and buildings. What is YESHUA called? The Chief Corner STONE which represents strength and reliability.

Matthew 21:42-44 quoting Psalms 118:22

“YESHUA said to them, “And you, have you never read the scripture which says, ‘The stone that the builders of the wall rejected will be placed in the corner, It is a work from EL in your eyes’? Surely, because of this I say to you that the kingdom of YAHWEH will be taken from you, and given to nations who will do His deeds. He who will fall upon that stone will be crushed, and it will crush him upon whom it falls.”

So, I don’t find this to be a coincidence either.

Article continued: “Upping the Hebraic ante for this fantastical immigrants’ tale, however, is the specific item — the “MacGuffin” in screenwriters’ terms — that the villain, General Zod, is pursuing.

Zod (played with wonderful gusto by Michael Shannon) has chased down Kal-El (a quite remarkable Henry Cavill and his team of personal trainers and nutritionists – Man of Steel indeed!) in search of a doohickey that contains the genetic code and collected knowledge of Krypton, which they all call The Codex.

One need not be a biblical scholar to immediately flash upon the Aleppo Codex, the 10th century document considered by many to be the most authoritative reproduction of the Hebrew Bible. Currently housed in the Shrine of the Book wing in Jerusalem’s Israel Museum, the stories surrounding the codex include that it has survived theft and ransom during the Crusades, as well as near-destruction in 1947 by angry rioters at the announcement of the UN’s partition plan. Over the years it was hidden in Cairo (where Maimonides supposedly consulted with it in the 12th Century) and eventually Syria (where it acquired its “Aleppo” affiliation.)

Watching the brutal General Zod bark “where have you hidden the Codex?!?!” to the sweet, apple pie Middle American Ma Kent, is, in a twisted and probably unintentional way, the strangest new iteration on classic Jew-hating paranoia.

I’ll explain. Zod was bred, “Brave New World”-style, to protect the legacy of Krypton, the Old Country. (Kal-El is the first natural birth is centuries.) Both are among the few survivors of genocide. Kal-El’s father Jor-El (Russell Crowe, by the way) embedded the Codex with Kal-El when he sent him down the Nile. Kal-El has the power to preserve and create a new Krypton, but in doing that he would kill humanity. (Visualized via a fantasy scene in which Superman is drowning in a sea of skulls shouting “Noooooo!” This is a comic book movie, remember.)

Kal-El ultimately rejects this evil plan, this protocol dreamed up by the elders of Krypton. (For what it’s worth, nice Russel Crowe hoped he would figure out some sort of workaround where everyone would be happy – though it is hard to see how this is possible without altering the planet’s atmosphere, as evil Zod tried to do.) Kal-El has the Codex – and instead of returning it to the people of Krytpon – he keeps it hidden and unused. (This sounds like the Dead Sea Scrolls that were hidden, unused and later discovered in 1947 at Qumaran.)

Kal-El at age 33 (the year Jesus was when he was crucified) is ready to sacrifice for the good of his new home. He is, as he reminds the distrusting American General, “about as American as they come!” He arrives at this decision after a soulful one-on-one conversation with a Christian minister while sitting in front of a gigantic stained glass window of Christ. The light shining through it forms a halo around Henry Cavill’s gorgeous head. If you somehow missed that visual cue, there’s this subtle move Superman makes when he decides to put himself in harm’s way to fight General Zod.

In conclusion we see that Superheroes are so-called Saviors of the world when we have One Savior in YESHUA; Kal-El means “Voice of EL” and we know that YESHUA is the Voice of EL the Word of YAHWEH; Superman is the “Man of Steel” referring to strength as YESHUA is the Cornerstone referring to strength; this movie included scriptural elements such as putting Superman in a Moses-like basket and sending him down the Nile of intergalactic space until he landed safely on Earth; Superman is ready to sacrifice himself at 33 the age YESHUA was crucified; and also including a reference to the Aleppo Codex which is supposed to be one of the most authoritative Hebrew manuscripts. You can’t tell me any of this is a coincidence! The enemy does this right in plain sight and no one should playing around with the scriptures to form a false savior.

So as established from the introduction, dressing up as anything on Halloween is evil including dressing up as superhero.

2 Corinthians 6:14-18

“Do not unite in marriage with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity? Or what mingling has light with darkness? Or what accord has Messiah with Satan? Or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever? Or what harmony has the temple of ELOHIM with idols? For you are the temple of the living ELOHIM; as it is said, I will dwell in them and walk in them; and I will be their ELOHIM, and they shall be My people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be separate says YAHWEH, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, and I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, said YAHWEH Almighty.”

Paul says "They will believe a LIE!" Why?

Most are already familiar with the writings of Paul in 2 Thessalonians pertaining to the anti-messiah that will arise and sit in the temple, but who is it that will deceived when he comes? There are many Jews, not all, who have not yet accepted YESHUA as the Messiah and their Savior, as they do not believe that He has already come the first time as a Lamb to take away the iniquities of the world! We know that when He does come back He is coming as a Lion to destroy the enemies of YAHWEH. So being that they have rejected His first coming, they will be easily deceived into thinking the anti-messiah is the true Messiah. They have their own Oral Torah doctrines that have led them away from the truth to be deceived, but they aren’t the only ones as we will see.

2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 (Complete Jewish Scriptures)

“But in connection with the coming of our Master YESHUA the Messiah and our gathering together to meet Him, we ask you, brothers, not to be easily shaken in your thinking or anxious because of a spirit or a spoken message or a letter supposedly from us claiming that the Day of YAHWEH has already come. Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way. For the Day will not come until after the APOSTASTY has come and the man who SEPARATES HIMSELF FROM TORAH has been revealed (the lawless anti-messiah), the one destined for doom. He will oppose himself to everything that people call elohim or make an object of worship; he will put himself above them all, so that he will sit in the temple of ELOHIM and proclaim that he himself is ELOHIM. Don’t you remember that when I was still with you, I used to tell you these things? And now you know what is restraining, so that he may be revealed in his own time. For already this SEPARATING FROM TORAH IS AT WORK SECRETLY, but it will be secretly only until he who is restraining is out of the way. Then the one who EMBODIES SEPARATION FROM THE TORAH (anti-messiah) will be revealed, the one whom the Master YESHUA will slay with the breath of His mouth and destroy by the esteem of His coming. When this man who AVOIDS TORAH comes, the Adversary (Satan) will give him the power to work all kinds of false miracles, signs, and wonders. He will enable him to DECEIVE, in all kinds of wicked ways, those who are headed for destruction BECAUSE THEY WOULD NOT RECEIVE THE LOVE OF THE TRUTH that could save them. This is why ELOHIM is causing them to GO ASTRAY, SO THEY WILL BELIEVE THE LIE. The result will be that all who have not BELIEVED THE TRUTH, but have taken their pleasure in wickedness, will be condemned.”

Firstly, we see that Paul says in verse 7 “for this separating from the Torah is at work secretly…”

Paul clearly identifies the lawless one who separates himself from the Torah as the anti-messiah, who is the one who champions the lawless doctrines of Christianity, just think of the phrase “the law is done away with!” that Christianity preaches. Why is it done secretly? Because as Genesis 3:1 tells us is that he is subtle meaning very crafty at what he does! Satan will never come out as a grotesque, horned, pitchfork carrying monster to lead you astray! No! He infiltrates secretly with deception that looks and sounds good on the surface, but full of death. The tactic of “separating believers from the Torah” is secretly working death in the lives of those who claim to follow YESHUA, because Satan has them believing that they are walking in the full truth and that they won’t die for lawless behavior, even though they are walking in utter rebellion, complete disobedience to the Creator. Satan is giving them a false sense of salvation which is why he preaches the saved by grace alone doctrine and millions of Christians have accepted it, because he knows those who disobey the Torah will be cast out. We know this is true because YESHUA said it and Paul is confirming it.

Matthew 7:21-23

“No everyone who says to Me, ‘Master, Master!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, only those who do what My Father in heaven wants. On that Day many will say to Me, ‘Master, Master! Didn’t we prophesy in Your Name? Didn’t we expel demons in Your Name? Didn’t we perform many miracles in Your Name? Then I will tell them to their faces, ‘I never knew you! GET AWAY FROM ME, YOU WORKERS OF LAWLESSNESS!”

These are believers that YESHUA is talking to who prophesied in His Name and cast out demons in His Name, yet He will say depart from Me you workers of lawlessness! Those who said the law is done away with. This is the secret deception of Satan that has many walking on the broad path of destruction.

Genesis 2:16-17

“And YAHWEH ELOHIM took the man, and put him in the garden of Eden to till it and to keep it. And YAHWEH ELOHIM commanded the man, saying, of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat; for in the day that you eat of it YOU SHALL SURELY DIE.”

Genesis 3:1-4

“Now the serpent was more subtle than all the wild beasts that YAHWEH ELOHIM had made. And the serpent said to the woman, truly has ELOHIM said that you shall not eat of any tree of the garden? And the woman said to the serpent, we may eat of the fruit of all the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, ELOHIM has said, you shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest you die. And the serpent said to the woman, YOU SHALL NOT SURELY DIE.”

YAHWEH gave ONE command saying if you eat the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil you WILL DIE, but Satan comes along and says that if you eat the fruit you SHALL NOT DIE! Sadly many choose to listen to the lies of Satan that lead to death versus the voice of YAHWEH that leads to life. Satan was able to convince them to break the commandment of YAHWEH by telling Eve she wouldn’t die knowing full well that they would, just as Satan is telling Christianity today that they can break the commandments and they will not die, knowing full well that they will. Satan has infiltrated the churches and has false teachers are posing as ministers of righteousness preaching disobedience from the pulpit.

2 Corinthians 11:13-15

“For they are false apostles and deceitful workers, POSING AS APOSTLES OF MESSIAH. There is no marvel in this; for if Satan disguises himself as the malach (angel) of light, it is no great thing if his ministers ALSO POSE AS MINISTERS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, who end shall be according to their works.”

Satan is telling the exact same LIE he told the in garden just repackaged in a church building. Paul goes on to say that the anti-messiah will deceive those who are headed for destruction because they would not receive the love of the TRUTH!

What is the truth?

Psalms 119:142

“Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and Your TORAH IS TRUTH.”

Psalms 119:160

“The foundation of Your WORD is TRUTH; and every one of Your righteous JUDGMENTS endures FOR EVER.”

Deuteronomy 8:3

“And He humbled you and suffered you to hunger and fed you with manna, which you did not know, neither did your ancestors know; that He might make you to understand that man does not live by bread alone; but by EVERY WORD that comes from the mouth of YAHWEH.”

John 17:17

“O Father, set them apart in Your TRUTH, because YOUR WORD IS TRUTH.”

The truth is YAHWEH’s words which is the Torah/Law! So, Paul is saying that those who are headed for destruction are those who refused the love of the truth which is the Torah! They will be deceived because they chose the lawless path!

Then in verse 11 Paul says, “The result is why ELOHIM is causing them to go astray, so that they will believe the LIE.”

YAHWEH will give them over to their own perverted minds as He magnifies the wickedness that is already present within their hearts, because they refuse to obey His commandments that lead to life, and being that they love lies then He will give them over to the father of lies to deceive them.

John 8:44-47

“You belong to your father, Satan, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. From the start he was a murderer, and he has never stood by the TRUTH, because there is NO TRUTH in him. When he tells a LIE, he is speaking in character; because he is a LIAR—INDEED, THE INVENTOR OF THE LIE! But as for Me, because I tell you the truth you DON’T BELIEVE ME. Which one of you can show Me where I’m wrong? If I’m telling the truth, why don’t you believe Me? Whoever belongs to ELOHIM LISTENS TO WHAT ELOHIM SAYS; the reason you don’t listen is that you don’t BELONG TO ELOHIM.”

Those who say the law is done away with are doing the will of Satan the lawless one and don’t belong to ELOHIM. YESHUA said that “Whoever belongs to ELOHIM listens to what ELOHIM says” and what did ELOHIM say?

Leviticus 18:5

“You shall therefore keep My commandments and My judgments, which if a man do, he shall LIVE IN THEM; I am YAHWEH.”

Then YESHUA said “Because I tell you the truth you don’t believe Me”. YESHUA told you the commandments were not done away with, so why don’t you believe Him? Is it because He tells you the truth that you can’t understand Him as the Pharisees could not because of their hard hearts?

Matthew 5:17 (Hebrew)

“Do NOT THINK that I came to throw down the Torah and the prophets, on the contrary, I came to CONFIRM. I say unto you in truth, that NO ONE WORD WILL BE DIMINISHED FROM THE TORAH…”

YESHUA says don’t not “think” in other words, do not even let it into enter into your minds that He came to do away with the Torah or that not one word would be diminished from it which is the truth,  yet when Satan speaks and says: Do as thou wilt and you will not die” the lawless lie is immediately accepted as truth. History repeats itself and many are walking in disobedience today which brought about the fall of mankind in the first place. So when the anti-messiah arrives on the scene, the one who separates himself from the Torah will easily deceive the lawless Christians who have already committed to following his lawless ways. They will believe he is YESHUA when he is not because they have refused the love of the truth (Torah). And that day may not be too far off, so it’s time to separate yourselves from the lies of Satan and walk in the truth, repent and following YESHUA completely.

Rare GOLD YAHWEH seeks!

2 Esdras 7:51-61

“For whereas you have said that the righteous are not many but few, while the unrighteous abound, hear the explanation for this. If you have just a few precious stones, will you add to them lead and clay? I said, “Master, how could that be? And he said to me, “Not only that, but ask the earth and she will tell you; address her, and she will declare it to you. Say to her, ‘You produce gold and silver and brass, and iron and lead and clay; but silver is more abundant than gold, and brass than silver, and iron than brass, and lead than iron, and clay than lead. Judge therefore which things are precious and desirable, those that are abundant or those that are RARE? I said, “O sovereign YAHWEH, what is plentiful is of LESS WORTH, for what is RARER IS MORE PRECIOUS.” He answered and said, “Weigh within yourself what you have thought, for he who has what is hard to get rejoices more than he who has what is plentiful. So also will be the judgment which I have promised; for I will rejoice over the FEW WHO SHALL BE SAVED, because it is they who have made My esteem to prevail now, and through them My Name has now been honored.”

2 Esdras 8:1-3

“He answered me and said, “The Most High made this world for the sake of many, but the world to come for the sake of few. But I will explain the parable to you, Ezra. Just as, when you ask the earth, it will tell you that it provides VERY MUCH CLAY from which earthenware is made, but only A LITTLE DUST FROM WHICH GOLD COMES; so is the course of the present world. Many have been created, but few shall be saved.”

YAHWEH is looking for rare gold which are the few righteous in the world that will be saved this is obviously the narrow path that YESHUA speaks of saying:

Matthew 7:13-14

“Enter through the narrow gate, for wide is the way that leads man to destruction, and many are entering by it. But the gate and the way that lead to life, it is exceedingly narrow; and FEW are they who find it.”

The rare gold are the few righteous who are walking the narrow path which are those who keep the commandments of YAHWEH and faith in YESHUA (Revelation 14:12).

So, what does it take to get us to become rare gold? It is a process that YAHWEH sends His all of people through to refine them. Are you willing to let YAHWEH refine you or are you going to be content with being clay and lead (the unrighteous) with no value that will be destroyed with the multitude?

2 Esdras 9:14-22

“I answered and said, “I said before, and I say now, and will say it again: there are more who perish than those who will live, as a flood is greater than a drop of water.” He answered me and said, “As is the field, so is the seed; and as are the flowers, so are the colors; and as is the work, so is the judgment; and as is the farmer, so is the threshing floor. For there was a time in this age when I was preparing for those who now exist, before they came into being the world was made for them to dwell in, and no one opposed Me then, for no one existed; but now those who have been created in this world, which is supplied both with an unfailing table (plenty of food to eat) and an inexhaustible pasture, have become corrupt in their ways. So I considered My world, and behold, it was lost, and My earth, and behold, it was in peril because of the devices of those who had come into it. And I saw and spared some with great difficulty, and saved for Myself ONE GRAPE OUT OF A CLUSTER, AND ONE PLANT OUT OF A GREAT FOREST. So let the multitude perish which has been born in vain, but let My grape and My plant be saved, because with MUCH LABOR I HAVE PERFECTED THEM.”

 YAHWEH labors hard to perfect us to get us on the narrow path and keep us there, to by the leading of the  RUACH HA’KODESH! So, as we saw from the scriptures earlier that only a few will be saved and are likened to rare gold. So, lets view an article about the gold refining process to see if it applies to us in our walk with YESHUA!

Trial by fire: gold refining

“Once upon a time, your favourite gold necklace was part of a bunch of other metals congealed together in a rock. When gold is mined, it is barely discernible as the metal we have come to love. It is in fact what experts called an ore. An ore can have a high or a low amount of gold content depending on where it was extracted. Goldsmiths use cyanide to extract the gold from the ores, forming something called a ‘dore’.

Onward to the next stage. The dore has to go through a trial by fire at a refinery. In an exciting process called refining, it is re-liquified in a furnace and then heaped with generous amounts of soda ash and borax. This effectively separates the gold from impurities and other metal traces. There are actually a range of interesting scientific and technological ways gold can be refined. Whatever the method, what remains is the purest gold on the planet and it is cast into a beautiful bar that glitters like the sun.”

As we see from the article that gold did not just come out as pure gold as we know it, rather it was BARELY DISCERNIBLE before it was refined. It had to be effectively SEPARATED FROM THE IMPURITIES, just as we the believers are refined by the blood of YESHUA and keeping the commandments out of obedience, which then SEPARATES us from the IMPURITIES OF THIS WORLD and SEPARATES us the wheat from the tares, the sheep from the goats.

2 Corinthians 6:15-16

“Or what accord has Messiah with Satan? Or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever? Or what harmony has the temple of ELOHIM with idols? For you are the temple of the living ELOHIM; as it is said, I will dwell in them and walk in them; and I will be their ELOHIM, and they shall be My people.”

Matthew 13:37-42 (Hebrew)

“So He answered and said, “He who sows the good seed is the Son of the virgin. The field is the world and the good seed are the righteous ones, but the thistles are the evil ones. And the enemy who sows them is Ha-Satan. And the time of the harvest is the end of the world, and the reapers are the messengers. For like a man who gathers the thistles and burns them, so it will be at the end of the world. The Son of ELOAH will send His messengers. All the stumbling-blocks in His kingdom and the evil ones, He will place in the fire of Gei-Hinnom, and there will be weeping and trembling of teeth.”

If YAHWEH had not refined us then we also would be BARELY DISCERNIBLE from the rest of the world just as gold started out before being refined, because you would be celebrating pagan holidays like them, eating unclean foods like them, dressing like them, and talking like them, you would look just like the rest of the world and therefore UNDISCERNIBLE from them.

2 Corinthians 6:17

“Wherefore come out from among them, and be SEPARATE, says YAHWEH, and TOUCH NOT THE UNCLEAN THING; and I will receive you, and will be a Father to you, and you shall be my sons and daughters, said YAHWEH Almigty.”

Leviticus 19:1-2

“And YAHWEH spoke to Moses, saying, speak to all the congregation of the children of Yisra’el and say to them, you shall be set-apart; for I YAHWEH your ELOHIM am set-apart.”

The scriptures that I will list below shows us that ELOHIM wants us go through the same refining process as gold to be set-apart from the world, so that we can become rare gold in His sight and not the abundance of brass, lead and clay that the earth produces. ELOHIM is also molding us physically and spiritually to stand for Him, to have unwavering faith regardless of what goes on this world, no matter the level of persecution and injustice, and not being swayed by every wind of doctrine. Remember, gold has to go through a TRIAL OF FIRE as the article mentioned to become a precious metal just as we have to be TRIED AS GOLD IN THE FURNANCE to become that precious stone that is pleasing in YAHWEH’s sight!

Sirach 2:1-5

“My son if you have come to serve YAHWEH prepare your souls for TRIALS. Set your heart aright and constantly endure and do not hurry in times of trouble. Cleave to Him and do not depart, that you may be increased at your last end. What is brought on you take cheerfully and be patient when you are changed to a low estate. FOR AS GOLD IS TRIED IN THE FIRE SO ACCEPTABLE MEN IN THE FURNANCE OF ADVERSITY.”!

Wisdom 3:1-6

“But the soul of the righteous are in the hand of ELOHIM and no torment shall touch them. In the sight of the unwise they seemed to die: and their departure is mistaken for misery, and their going from us to be utter destruction: but they are in peace. For though they are punished in the sight of men, yet their hope is full of immortality. And having been chastised a little, they shall be greatly rewarded: for ELOHIM proved them and found them WORTHY of Himself. AS GOLD IN THE FURNANCE HE HAS TRIED THEM AND RECEIVED them as a burnt offering.”

Zechariah 13:9

“And I will cause the third part to pass through the fire and will refine them as they refine silver, AND WILL TRY THEM AS THEY TRY GOLD; they shall call on My Name, and I will answer them; I will say, they are My people; and they shall say, YAHWEH is My ELOHIM.”

1 Peter 1:3-9

“Blessed be ELOHIM, the Father of our Master YESHUA HA’MASHIACH, Who by His abundant mercy has again renewed us spiritually to a lively hope by the resurrection of YESHUA HA’MASHIACH from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled, that does not fade away and is prepared in heaven for you, while you kept by the power of ELOHIM through faith for the life eternal which is ready to be revealed at the last time. Wherein you will rejoice forever, though at the present you are sorrowful for a while, through DIVERSE TRIALS WHICH HAVE come upon you, so that the PROOF OF YOUR FAITH, being much more precious than REFINED GOLD which has been purified by FIRE, may be made manifest for the esteem and honor and praise at the appearing of YESHUA HA’MASHIACH,  Whom you have not seen, but Whom you yet love, and in whose faith you rejoice with exceeding joy that cannot be described; and you will receive the reward for your faith, even the salvation of your souls.”

 Go through the furnace of adversity to be tried as gold in the fire to test your faith which will bring forth endurance in all things, and you will come out on the other end as rare precious gold, and will be rewarded when YESHUA comes because He will have found you to be an obedient servant that endured until the end. Are you willing to go through the fire and trust YAHWEH without complaining or giving up? Or are you content with being lead that is abundant on the earth and has no value? That choice is yours and I pray that you give your lives completely to YESHUA and become sold out disciples of His. This is why James tells us:

James 1:2-3 (CJB)

“Regard it all as joy my brothers, when you face various kinds of trials; for you know that the testing of your trust produces perseverance. But let perseverance do its complete work; so that you may be complete and whole, lacking in nothing.”

The article also said this about the finished product of gold: “and it is cast into a beautiful bar that glitters like the sun.”

In the same way the finished product of the righteous, who are likened to rare precious gold will also shine like the sun:

Matthew 13:43

“Then the righteous ones will SHINE LIKE THE SUN in the kingdom of their Father. Whosever has ears to hear, let him obey.”

Daniel 12:3

“And those who have done good and the men of understanding shall SHINE as the brightness of the firmament; and those who have turned many to righteousness shall SHINE and stand like stars for ever and ever.”

2 Esdras 7:97 (order of the righteous)

“The sixth order, when it is shown to them how their face is TO SHINE LIKE THE SUN, and how they are to be made like THE LIGHT OF THE STARS, being incorruptible from then on.”

2 Baruch 51:10

“For on the summits of that world they will live, and they will be like the malachim (angels), and they will be deemed EQUAL TO THE STARS…”

YESHUA the Ultimate Sacrifice: part 2

Genesis 3:1-7

“Now the serpent was more subtle than all the wild beasts that YAHWEH ELOHIM had made. And the serpent said to the woman, Truly has ELOHIM said that you shall not eat of any tree of the garden? And the woman said to the serpent, we may eat of the fruit of all the trees of the garden; but the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, ELOHIM has said, You shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest you die. And the serpent said to the woman, you shall not surely die; for ELOHIM knows that in the day you eat of it, your eyes shall be opened, and you shall be like mighty ones, knowing good and evil. So when the women saw that the tree was good for food, and that was pleasant to the eyes, and that the tree was delightful to look at, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and she also gave to her husband with her; and he did eat. Then the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew they were naked; and they SEWED FIG LEAVES TOGETHER, AND MADE THEMSELVES APRONS.”

By Eve listening to the voice of Satan and Adam then listening to the voice of his wife versus what YAHWEH commanded, they made a covenant with death, and death and iniquity entered into the world. They went from being immortal to mortal.

Wisdom 2:23-24

“For ELOHIM created man to be immortal and made him to be an image of His own eternity. Nevertheless through the envy of Satan, death came into the world: and those that take his side find it.”

Eve saw that the tree was good for food and able to make one wise, so Satan makes iniquity look and feel good by tempting you, but the action is all yours as he cannot make you act.

James 1:13-15

“Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of ELOHIM; for ELOHIM cannot be tempted with evil, neither does He tempt any man; but every man is tempted by his own lust; he covets and is enticed. Then when lust has conceived, it brings forth iniquity; and iniquity when it has matured, bring forth death.”

As we see, Adam and Eve covered themselves with fig aprons which shows they tried to cover their own transgression, but we know that man cannot save themselves, we all need a Savior, and YAHWEH showed them that.

Genesis 3:21

“And YAHWEH ELOHIM made for Adam and for his wife COATS OF SKIN AND CLOTHED THEM.”

Man cannot cover his own transgressions only YAHWEH can, and it requires a blood sacrifice; therefore, an innocent animal had to be sacrificed in order to COVER THEIR TRANGRESSION and their nakedness.

Leviticus 17:11

“For the life of the flesh is in the blood; and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for yourselves; for it is the blood that makes an atonement for the SOUL.”

This was a foreshadow of YESHUA the innocent Lamb, The Son of YAHWEH, Who would be slain to COVER our iniquities.

Isaiah 53:9-10

“He made His grave with the wicked, and with the rich in His death, although He had done NO INIQUITY NEITHER WAS THERE ANY DECEIT IN HIS MOUTH. Yet it pleased YAHWEH to afflict Him; He has put Him to grief; He laid down His life as an offering for iniquity…”

Isaiah 61:10

“I will greatly rejoice in YAHWEH and my soul shall be joyful in my ELOHIM; for He has CLOTHED ME with the GARMENTS OF SALVATION, HE HAS COVERED ME WITH THE ROBE OF RIGHTOEUSNESS, as a bridegroom decks himself in splendor and as a bride adorns herself with jewels.”

The same way YAHWEH clothed Adam and Eve to COVER their transgressions is the same way YAHWEH has COVERED US with the blood of His Son YESHUA! He has clothed us with salvation as YESHUA literally means “YAHWEH is Salvation” AND He has covered us with a “ROBE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS.” This is the same language that we see in Daniel:

Daniel 9:1-2

“In the first year of Darius, the son of Ahasuerus, a descendant of the Medes who became king over the realm of the Chaldeans, in the first year of his reign I, Daniel, understood by the scriptures the number of the years, seeing that the word of YAHWEH came to pass which the prophet Jeremiah said, that seventy years would elapse before the desolations of Jerusalem would come to an end.”

So Daniel fasted and prayed in sackcloth and Ashes to our ELOHIM to determine when the 70 years of Babylonian captivity would be over for he knew the 70 years was almost up according to Jeremiah’s prophecy. Then Gabriel comes to Daniel and answers him, but instead of showing him the release from Babylonian captivity he shows Daniel a release from another captivity, which is the release of our iniquities through YESHUA!

Daniel 9:23-24

“At the beginning of your prayer, the word came forth and I have come to make it known to you, for you are greatly beloved; therefore discern the matter, and understand the vision. Seventy times seven weeks are determined upon your people and upon your set-apart city, TO FINISH THE TRANGRESSIONS AND TO MAKE AN END OF INIQUITIES AND FOR THE FORGIVNESS OF THE INIQUITY AND TO BRING IN EVERLASTING RIGHTEOUSNESS and to fulfill the vison of the prophets and to give the most set-apart to Messiah.” Verse 26 After sixty-two times seven weeks, Messiah shall be SLAIN…”

Notice how Gabriel says to fulfill the vison of the prophets? One of the prophets was Isaiah which I quoted from Isaiah 53 which is clearly YESHUA and also Isaiah 61:10. Isaiah and Gabriel both say that YESHUA’s sacrifice would bring forgiveness of iniquities and EVERLASTING RIGHTOUSNESS, meaning that the blood of YESHUA would make many righteous who believe in Him.

Isaiah 61:10

“I will greatly rejoice in YAHWEH and my soul shall be joyful in my ELOHIM; for He has CLOTHED ME with the GARMENTS OF SALVATION, HE HAS COVERED ME WITH THE ROBE OF RIGHTOEUSNESS.”

“Yet YAHWEH was willing to crush Him, and He made Him suffer. Although You make His soul an offering for iniquity and He will see His offspring and He will prolong His days, and the will of YAHWEH will triumph in His hand. Out of THE SUFFERING OF HIS SOUL HE WILL SEE LIGHT and find satisfaction. And through His knowledge His Servant, the RIGHTEOUS ONE, will MAKE MANY RIGHTEOUS AND HE WILL BEAR THEIR INIQUITIES.”

Romans 5:11-19

“And not only so, but we also esteem in ELOHIM through our Master YESHUA HA’MASHIACH, by Whom we have now received reconciliation.” Verse 16-19 “And the effect of the gift of ELOHIM was greater than the effect of the offence of Adam; for while the judgement from one man’s offence resulted in condemnation of many, the gift of ELOHIM in forgiveness of iniquities resulted in RIGHTEOUSNESS to many more. For if by one man’s offence, death reigned, how much more those who receive abundance of mercy and of the gift of RIGHTEOUSNESS shall reign in life by One, YESHUA HA’MASHIACH. In like manner as by one man’s offence, condemnation came upon all men, even so by the RIGHTEOUSNESS of one Man will the victory to life be to ALL MEN. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made transgressors, so by the obedience of one Man shall many be made RIGHTEOUS.”

2 Corinthians 5:20-21

“Now then we are ambassadors for Messiah, as through ELOHIM did beseech you by us; we beseech you for Messiah, be reconciled to ELOHIM. For He who did not know iniquity, for your sakes made Himself an iniquity offering, that we may through Him be MADE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF ELOHIM.”

1 Peter 2:24

“And He (YESHUA) bore all our iniquities and lifted them with His body on the stake, that we, being dead to iniquity, should live through HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS; and by His wounds you were healed.”

1 Corinthians 15:20-22

“But now we know Messiah is risen from the dead and become the first-fruits of those who have died. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as In Adam all die, even so in Messiah shall all be made alive.”

Resurrection

I also want to elaborate on the rest of Isaiah 53:10 from the Dead Sea Scrolls which brings more insight:

“Out of His suffering of His soul He shall see light” is a prophecy that YESHUA be crucified, buried, and His soul would be taken from Sheol and return back to His body and be resurrected on the third day; therefore, His soul will see LIGHT. For all of those who say Isaiah 53 is not about YESHUA have been proven wrong by this ancient witness.

Sheol is a holding tank underneath the earth where all the souls of men go when they die to await judgement.

Psalms 16:10

“For You have left NOT MY SOUL IN SHEOL; neither have You suffered Your Set-Apart One to see corruption.”

Matthew 16:21

“And from that day and further on, He began to announce to His disciples that it was obligated that He should go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things by the scribes and by the chief priests, and die and STAND UP ALIVE ON THE THIRD DAY.”

1 Peter 3:18-19

“For Messiah also once suffered for our iniquities, a just Man for transgressors, that He might bring you to ELOHIM, wherefore while He died in the flesh, He lives in the Spirit. And He (YESHUA) preached to the SOULS IMPRISIONED IN SHEOL; those who in the past were disobedient; and in the days of Noah when the Spirit of ELOHIM had patience, He commanded an ark to be made in the hope of their repentance, but only eight souls entered into it, and were saved by its floating upon the water.”

Acts 2:22-36 (Aramaic English New Testament)

“Men of Yisra’el, hear these words: YESHUA HA’MASHIACH, a Man, who by ELOHIM was shown to you with miracles and with signs and with acts of power, those that ELOHIM did among you by His hand as you know. This Man, who was Set-Apart for this, by the foreknowledge and will of ELOHIM, you delivered into the hands of the people who were without ELOHIM and you nailed upon a stake and killed! But ELOHIM loosed the cords of SHEOL and RAISED HIM because it was not possible that He be held in Sheol. For David spoke concerning Him, I FORESAW MY MASTER, for at all times He is at my right hand so that I will not be moved. Because of this my heart rejoices and my praise flourishes and also my body dwells in hope. Because you will not leave MY SOUL IN SHEOL, AND NEITHER WILL YOU ALLOW YOUR RIGHTEOUS ONE TO SEE CORRUPTION. You have revealed the road of life to me, You will fill me with gladness with your presence. Men, our brothers, allow me to speak boldly with you concerning the Patriarch David, who is dead and also buried, and whose grave is with us until today. For he was a prophet, and he had known that oaths that ELOHIM had sworn to him, that, of the fruit of your loins I will establish a King upon your throne. And he FORESAW and spoke concerning the RESURECCTION OF THE MESSIAH, THAT HE WAS NOT LEFT IN SHEOL, NOR DID HIS BODY SEE CORRUPTION. This YESHUA ELOHIM raised, and we are all of His witnesses. And this is He who is exalted at the right hand of ELOHIM, and received the promise from the Father concerning the RUACH HA’KODESH. And He has poured out this gift, which behold you see and hear. For it was not that David did ascend into Heaven, because he said, ‘Master YAHWEH said to My Master (YESHUA), sit Yourself at My right hand until I place your enemies as a footstool to Your feet. Truly therefore let all of the house of Yisra’el know that Master YAHWEH has made this YESHUA whom you have crucified both ELOHIM AND MESSIAH.”

YESHUA was anointed to be slain from the foundation of the world

As Isaiah 53:10 tells us from the Dead Sea Scrolls through YAHWEH’s knowledge meaning is foreknowledge (See: Isaiah 46:10 He declared the end from the beginning)  that His Servant the Righteous One, which is a reference to His Son YESHUA would die as the perfect sacrificial Lamb and in doing so make many righteous and bear our iniquities.

Genesis in Hebrew is Bereshit which means “In the beginning” the very first word describes what YESHUA would come to do for us.

Bereshit: Beyt, Resh, Aleph, Sheen, Yod, Taw which means The Son of the Highest EL shall be destroyed by His own hand on the stake.”

1 Peter 1:19-21

“But with the precious blood of the Lamb without blemish and without spot which is Messiah, Who verily was FORORDAINED for this purpose BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD, and was manifest in these last times for your sakes, Who by Him you believe in ELOHIM, Who raised Him up from the dead and gave Him esteem, that your faith and hope might rest on ELOHIM.”

Last week we discussed that the ram caught in the thicket by its horns represented YESHUA hanging from the execution stake. And how Abraham sacrificed the ram as a substitute instead of Isaac just as YESHUA took our place and was our substitute! We see YESHUA was foreordained from the beginning to be slain for the world, just as the ram was that Abraham offered up in Genesis 22.

Jasher 23:70-71

“And Abraham lifted up his eyes and saw, and behold, a ram was caught in a thicket by his horns; that WAS THE RAM WHICH YAHWEH ELOHIM HAD CREATED IN THE EARTH IN THE DAY THAT HE MADE THE EARTH AND THE HEAVENS. FOR YAHWEH ELOHIM HAD PREPARED THIS RAM FROM THAT DAY, TO BE A ASCENION (BURNT OFFERING) INSTEAD OF ISAAC.”

We all have gone astray:

We see that from the very beginning from the fall of man that we have needed a Savior because we all have fallen short, which again takes us right back to the coats of skin that YAHWEH covered them with. Are you covered with the blood of YESHUA? If not, it’s time to accept Him as your Savior and be covered with His righteousness, because without His blood you will be found guilty and will have to bear the wrath of your own iniquities! YESHUA died because we broke the commandments of a set-apart ELOHIM, so we cannot go on continuing to break His laws when that is the reason why He died. The commandments we do out of obedience because it is how we know Him and love Him.

Enoch 81:5

“And those seven set-apart ones brought me and placed me on the earth before the door of my house, and said to me. “Declare everything to your son Methuselah, and show all your children THAT NO FLESH IS RIGHTEOUS IN THE SIGHT OF THE MASTER, for He is their Creator.

Romans 3:23

“For ALL HAVE TRANGRESSED AND ARE SHORT OF THE ESTEEM OF ELOHIM…”

Isaiah 53:6

“All we like sheep HAVE STRAYED; we have turned every one to his own way, and YAHWEH has laid on Him the iniquities of US ALL.”

1 Peter 2:24-25

“And he bore ALL OUR INIQUITIES and lifted them with His body on the stake, that we, being dead to iniquity, should live through His righteousness; and by His wounds you are healed. For you had gone astray like sheep, but you have now returned to the Shepherd and the Guardian of your souls.”

Ultimate sacrifice: YESHUA and Isaac parallels!

Genesis 22:1-2

“And it came to pass after these things that ELOHIM tested Abraham and said to him, Abraham. And he said, behold, here I am. And He said, take now your SON, YOUR ONLY SON ISAAC, whom you LOVE, and go to the land of the Amorites (Samaritan says: land of Moriah); and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains of which I tell you.”

YAHWEH says to Abraham take your son your ONLY SON Isaac whom you LOVE which parallels YAHWEH and His Son YESHUA:

John 3:16 (Hebrew)

“For EL loves the world so much that He gave His ONLY SON-one alone begotten-to the world; in order that He who believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life.”

Jubilees 18:15

“And He said, “By Myself have I sworn, says YAHWEH. Because you have done this thing, and have not withhold your son, your BELOVED son, from Me, that in blessing I will bless you…”

Matthew 3:16-17 (Hebrew)

“And immediately-when YESHUA MASHIACH was immersed and came out of the water- the heavens were opened, and RUACH HA’KODESH (The Set-Apart Spirit) descended on Him in the form of a dove. And there came a voice from heaven, and said, “This is My Son, MY BELOVED, He is pleasing to Me.”

In Moriah:

Genesis 22:2

And He said, take now your SON YOUR ONLY SON ISAAC, whom you LOVE, and go to the land of the Amorites (Samaritan says: land of MORIAH); and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains of which I tell you.”

2 Chronicles 3:1

“Then Solomon began to build the house of YAHWEH in Jerusalem on MOUNT MORIAH…”

So technically Abraham was about to sacrifice his son in the place where Solomon would build the Temple in the future, Abraham was basically offering Isaac as a burnt offering in the temple before it even existed. Adding to this layer is www.dlftx.org states “according to many scholars, Golgotha and the ancient site of MOUNT MORIAH may be the same area. In other words, scholars believe that YESHUA may have been crucified near Moriah or its summit.”

If the scholars are correct then that means that Isaac was offered up in Moriah and so was YESHUA. And we know YESHUA gave Himself up for us an iniquity offering:

Ephesians 5:2

“And walk in love, as Messiah also has loved us, and gave Himself for us, a gift and an offering to ELOHIM for a sweet-smelling fragrance.”

Even more powerful are the words YESHUA spoke concerning the Temple:

Matthew 12:5-6 (Hebrew)

“And have you yourselves never read in the law that the priests at times break the Shabbats in the Sanctuary with no iniquity? Truth I say to you that HE WHO IS HERE, HE IS GREATER THAN THE SANCTUARY.”

The location of the temple and connections to it are amazing, but YESHUA is greater than the Temple because He is the Master of that very temple that the priests served in and where the sacrifices occurred, in other words YESHUA was stating that He is ELOHIM.

Resurrection:

Genesis 22:4

“And on the THIRD DAY Abraham lifted up his eyes and saw the place afar off.”

Hebrews 11:17-19 (Aramaic)

“By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, he LIFTED UPON THE ALTAR his ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, even that very one who had been received in the promise, of whom it was said, in Isaac shall your descendants be called; and he reasoned in himself, it is possible for ELOHIM even to RAISE THE DEAD; and because of this, Isaac was given to him as a TYPE.”

Hebrews states that Abraham offered up his son Isaac by lifting him upon the altar, just as we know YESHUA was lifted up on the execution stake:

John12:31-32

“Now is the judgment of the world, now the prince of the world will be cast outside. When I, I will be LIFTED UP FROM THE EARTH, I will draw all to Myself.”

John 8:25-28 (Hebrew)

“Then they said to Him “You, who are you?” So YESHUA answered and said to them, “THE ANICENT ONE, Who speaks many things unto you, and speaks of you, and judges. But He who sent Me, is true, and I, the words which I hear from Him, them I speak in the world.” But they did not realize what He told them-that EL is His Father. So YESHUA said to them, “After you have LIFTED UP the Son of Man you will realize that I AM HE, and that I do nothing of Myself-only as the Father teaches Me, to speak these things.”

So, Abraham offered up Isaac on the third day probably expecting that Isaac would be raised from the dead on that same day, this was a TYPE a foreshadow of YESHUA because YESHUA knew that He would die and be raised from the dead on the third day.

Matthew 16:21

“And from that day and further on, He (YESHUA) began to announce to His disciples that it was obligated that He should go into Jerusalem, and suffer many things by the scribes and by the chief priests, and DIE, AND STAND UP ALIVE ON THE THIRD DAY.”

The sons obey their fathers

Jasher 22:43-44

“And Isaac answered Ishmael, saying, “Why do you boast to me about this, about a little bit of your flesh which took from your body; concerning which YAHWEH commanded you? As YAHWEH lives, the ELOHIM of my father Abraham, if YAHWEH should say to my father, “Take now your son Isaac and offer him as an ascension offering before Me,” I would not refrain but I would joyfully do it.”

John 10:17-18

“Because of this the Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that He might take it up again. And no man takes that life, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to leave it, and I have power to take it up again. This commandment have I received from My Father.”

Isaac was willingly ready to lay down his life joyfully for YAHWEH and Abraham believed that he would be raised from the dead, just as YESHUA willingly laid down His life knowing that He would be raised from the dead. We see the son obeying the father to the point of death in both situations, but Abraham’s son was spared.

Carrying the stake

Genesis 22:6

“And Abraham took the WOOD for the burnt offering and LAID IT UPON ISAAC HIS SON, and He took the fire in his hand, and they went both of them together.”

John 19:16-17 (Hebrew)

“So Caesar’s authority delivered YESHUA to them that they could hang Him up. Then the Jews took YESHUA and led Him out. And YESHUA- CARRYING THE WARP AND WOOF (Executions stake)- went to a place which is called Calvary, (which is Golgotha in Hebrew.)

Isaac was made to carry the wood that he would be offered on as YESHUA was made to carry the stake that He would be offered up on!

Where is the lamb?

Genesis 22:7-8

“And Isaac spoke to Abraham his father and said, My father. And he answered, here I am, my son. And Isaac said, behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering? And Abraham said, ELOHIM will provide Himself a lamb for a burnt offering, my son. So they went both of them together.”

The words that Isaac spoke to his brother Ishmael has become a reality and was still willing to be bound up and offered. The Remez the hint to a deeper spiritual meaning here is that YAHWEH did provide a spotless Lamb in His Son YESHUA who was offered up as an iniquity offering for us all.

John 1:29

“On the next day John saw YESHUA coming toward him, and said, “See, the LAMB OF ELOHIM who takes away the iniquities of the world.”

John 1:29 (Hebrew)

“And on the next day John saw YESHUA who came unto him, and he said, “Behold, this is EL, who takes away the iniquities from the world.”

Laid on the wood:

Genesis 22:9

“And they came to place of which ELOHIM had told him; and Abraham built an altar there and laid the wood in order and BOUND ISAAC. His son and laid him on the altar upon the WOOD.”

1 Peter 2:24 (Aramaic English New Testament)

“And He took away all our iniquities and, in His body, lifted them to the STAKE, that we, when dead to transgression, might live by His righteousness: for by His wounds we are healed.”

Isaac was laid upon the wood to be sacrificed, but he was spared. YESHUA was laid upon the wood of the execution stake as was put to death.

Genesis 22:10

“Then Abraham stretched forth his hands and took the knife to slay his son.”

“Yet YAHWEH was willing to CRUSH HIM (YESHUA), and He made Him SUFFER…”

Isaiah 53:10 (Aramaic)

“Yet it pleased YAHWEH to afflict Him (YESHUA); He has put Him to grief; He laid down His life as an OFFERING FOR INIQUITY…”

Abraham the father of Isaac was getting ready to slay his own son but was stopped from doing so. However, YAHWEH the Father loves the world so much that He crushed His own Son! Both fathers were going through with the act to crush their sons; however, YAHWEH went through with the act but He spared Abraham from doing. This is the ultimate act of love of the Creator dying for His Creation.

Ram in the thicket symbolism

Genesis 22:13

“And Abraham lifted up his eyes and looked and behold a ram caught in a thicket by his HORNS; and Abraham went and took the ram and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son.”

Isaac needed a substitute for a sacrifice as we all do and was given a ram to take his place, the same way YESHUA traded places with us.

2 Corinthians 5:21 (Aramaic English New Testament)

“For, on YOUR ACCOUNT, He (YAHWEH) has made Him (YESHUA) who knew no iniquity to be a iniquity OFFERING that we might by Him become the righteousness of ELOHIM.”

Romans 3:23

“For ALL have transgressed and are short of the esteem of ELOHIM.”

Hebrews 9:12-14

“And He did not enter with the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood He entered in once into the set-apart place, and obtained for us EVERLASTING SALVATION. For if the blood of goats and calves and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who were defiled cleansed them even to the cleansing of their flesh, how much more will the blood of Messiah, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to ELOHIM, purify our conscience from dead works so that we may serve the living ELOHIM? For this cause He became the mediator of the New Covenant and by His death He became salvation for those who transgressed the old covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of eternal inheritance.”

And the ram hanging by the horns to be offered as a sacrifice is symbolic of YESHUA hanging from the stake/tree as an offering for the world.

Acts 5:30 (Aramaic English New Testament)

“The ELOHIM of our forefathers raised YESHUA, He Whom you killed when you HUNG HIM ON THE TREE.” Him this one ELOHIM has established a Prince and a Savior, and He has exalted Him by His right hand so that He might give of forgiveness to Yisra’el by repentance of iniquities.”

What does a horn represent in scripture?

As we saw above that the ram hanging by the horns is symbolic of YESHUA on the execution stake, but do the horns give us extra meaning in connection to YESHUA?

The horn can represent power and strength

Luke 1:69

“And He has raised up a HORN OF SALVATION for us in the house of His servant David.”

Deuteronomy 33:17

“His esteem is like the firstlings of the bullocks, and his HORNS are like the HORNS of a wild-ox…”

Aleph in Hebrew Otiot is a picture of an Ox head which represents YAHWEH, strength and power.

So, YESHUA is “Salvation of Strength” as He took on the iniquities of the world! And “Strong Savior” because He will take the government on His shoulders and rule as King and Priest.

Isaiah 9:6 (Aramaic)

“For to us a child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder: and His Name is called Wonderful Counsellor, The Mighty One, The Everlasting EL, the Prince of Peace.”

Luke 1:32

“He (YESHUA) will be great, and He will be called the Son of the Highest; and YAHWEH ELOHIM will give Him the throne of His Father David. And He will rule over the house of Jacob forever; and there will be no limit to His kingdom.”

Horn also represents exaltation, triumph and honor:

Psalm 89:17

“For You art the esteem of our strength; and in thy favor our HORN SHALL BE EXALTED.”

YESHUA’s triumph over death being crucified and rising on the third day saves humanity! And He will receive the honor and will reign.

Revelation 5:11

“And I looked, and I heard as it were the voice of many malachim (angels) round about the throne and the living creatures and the elders; and their number was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice, worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and esteem and blessing. And every creature which is in the heaven and on the earth and under the earth and all that are in the sea and all that are in them, I heard saying, to Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and esteem and dominion for ever and ever.”

Daniel 7:13-14

“I saw in the night visions, and behold one like the Son of man came upon the clouds of heaven, and came upon the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought Him before Him. And there was given to Him dominion and esteem and a Kingdom, that all the peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him; His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom is one that shall not be destroyed.”

Philippians 2:9-11

“Therefore ELOHIM also has highly EXALTED Him and given Him a Name which is above every Name, that at the Name of YESHUA every knee should bow, of those in heaven, of those on earth, and those under the earth, and every tongue shall confess that YESHUA HA’MASHIACH is the Master, to the esteem of ELOHIM His Father.”

As we see our Father YAHWEH from the very beginning was pointing to His Son YESHUA! He laid out for us in Genesis 22 that He would give His only-begotten Son as an iniquity offering for the world, all while sparing Abrahams son Isaac. All the animal sacrifices, the Levitical priesthood, and the entire Old Covenant were types and shadows that pointed to the ultimate sacrifice in His Son YESHUA who is EL, King, Priest, and Prophet. Understand that without the blood that He shed to atone for your iniquities you will not be saved, accept Him as your Savior today.

Sukkot Instructions 2022: For all followers of YESHUA!

After Yom Kippur is Sukkot the Feast of Tabernacles which occurs on October 5th which is equivalent to the 15th Day of the 7th Month on YAHWEH’s calendar and is a High Shabbat a (no work day). Sukkot is celebrated for 7 days ending on the October 11th. Then immediately afterwards on October 12th is the 8th Day Closing Assembly a NO WORK DAY! So in summary we are to do no work on the 1st Day and the 8th Day because they are Shabbat’s (October 5th and October 12th.)

Sukkot the Feast of Tabernacles is the true thanksgiving however, Satan has attempted to copy YAHWEH as he usually does, and he has the world rejecting YAHWEH’S days with a pagan substitute. There is nothing new under the sun (Ecclesiastes 1:9) as we see the world walking in the ways of Jeroboam son of Nebat, just as many of the wicked kings of Yisra’el did. He mocked YAHWEH’s Sukkot/Feast of Tabernacles by making his own day EXACTLY ONE MONTH after YAHWEH’s. It’s time to get away from the false thanksgiving that the world celebrates and follow YAHWEH’s true Thanksgiving which is Sukkot the Feast of Tabernacles, followers of YESHUA don’t need TWO THANKSGIVINGS, the only one that needs to be celebrated is the one found in the kodesh (set-apart) scriptures.

1 Kings 12:32

“And Jeroboam performed a FESTIVAL on the FIFTEENTH DAY OF THE EIGHTH MONTH, LIKE THE FESTIVAL THAT WAS IN JUDAH (SUKKOT)FEAST OF TABERNACLES…”

Leviticus 23:34:

'Speak to the children of Yisra’el saying, 'On the FIFTEENTH DAY OF THE SEVENTH MONTH IS THE FESTIVAL OF SUKKOT/Chag HaSukot (Feast of Tabernacles) begins, and it lasts for seven days.

This alone should be an eye opener! Also, the modern thanksgiving has connections with harvest deities which is a direct transgression against our ELOHIM.

Abraham was the first to celebrate Sukkot

Jubilees 16:20-31

“And he built BOOTHS (Sukkah) for himself and for his servants on this Festival, and he was the FIRST to celebrate the FESTIVAL OF SUKKOT on the earth. Verse 25-31 “And he blessed his Creator who had created him in his generation, for He had created him according to His good pleasure; for He knew and perceived that from him would arise the Branch of Righteousness (YESHUA) for the everlasting generations, and from him a SET APART SEED, so that it should become like Him who had made all matters (YAHWEH). And he blessed and REJOICED, and he called the name of this Festival the Festival of YAHWEH, a joy acceptable to the Most High EL. And we blessed him forever, and all his seed after him throughout all the generations of the earth, because he celebrated this Festival in its season, according to the witness of the tablets of the heavens. For this reason it is ordained on the tablets of the heavens concerning Yisra’el, that they SHOULD CELEBRATE THE FESTIVAL OF SUKKOT SEVEN DAYS WITH JOY (Leviticus 23:40 REJOICE), in the seventh month, acceptable before YAHWEH-a Law FOREVER, throughout their generations every year. And to this there is NO LIMIT OF DAYS; for it is ordained FOREVER regarding Yisra’el that they should celebrate it and DWELL IN BOOTHS, and put wreaths upon their heads, and take leafy BRANCHES, and willows of the stream. And Abraham took branches of palm trees, and the fruit of good trees, and every day going round the altar with the branches seven times in the morning, he praised and gave thanks to his ELOHIM for all matters in JOY.”

That is exactly what YAHWEH commands in Leviticus 23:39-42:

On the first day you are to take choice fruit from the trees, and palm trees, twigs of leafy trees, and willows of the stream, and REJOICE before YAHWEH your ELOHIM for seven days. Celebrate this as a festival to YAHWEH for seven days each year-a LAW forever in your generations; celebrate it in the seventh month. Live in booths for seven days: All native-born Israelites are to live in booths so your descendants will know that I had the Israelites live in booths when I brought them out of Egypt. I am YAHWEH your ELOHIM.”

For anyone who is still undecided about whether you should be celebrating these Appointed Times/Feast days of YAHWEH, I would like you to consider this:

Galatians 3:27-29

“For as many of you as were immersed (baptized) into Messiah, have put on Messiah. There is not Jew nor Greek (Aramean in Aramaic), there is not male and female, for you are all ONE in Messiah YESHUA. And if you are of Messiah, then you are seed of Abraham, and heirs according to promise.”

If we belong to YESHUA and we are the seed of Abraham and heirs according to the promise then are you doing what Abraham did? He was the first to celebrate Sukkot just as we all, and he kept the commandments, so shouldn’t you do as Abraham did?

John 8:39

“They answered, saying, to Him, our own father is Abraham. YESHUA said to them, “If you were the sons of Abraham, you would be doing the works of Abraham.”

Genesis 26:5

“Because Abraham obeyed My voice and guarded My Charge: My Commands, My Laws, and My Torah.”

Sukkot details:

We are commanded to dwell in a sukkah which is a booth or hut. A sukkah is a temporary dwelling topped with foliage, limbs, branches, and other materials to provide shade while living outdoors or even camping out in a tent.

Leviticus 23:34-44 (Aramaic):

'Speak to the children of Yisrael saying, 'On the fifteenth day of the seventh month is YAHWEH'S Festival of Sukkot/Chag HaSukot (Feast of Tabernacles) begins, and it lasts for seven days. The FIRST DAY is a set-apart gathering; DO NO SERVILE WORK. For seven days present offerings made to YAHWEH by fire, and on the EIGHTH DAY hold a set-apart gathering and present an offering made to YAHWEH by fire. It is a closing Festival, YOU DO NO SERVILE WORK.”

YAHWEH continues in verse 39 by saying: 'But on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, after you have gathered the produce of the land, you shall celebrate the feast to YAHWEH for seven days; the first day is a suspension of labor (no work day, October 5th), and the eighth day also is a solemn rest (no work day, October 12th). And you shall take for yourselves on the first day, the fruits of goodly trees, citron, branches of palm trees, myrtle, and willows of the brook; and you shall REJOICE before YAHWEH your ELOHIM for seven days ALL THE PEOPLE OF THE HOUSE OF YISRA’EL (Native-born and those grafted in). And you shall keep this feast to YAHWEH for seven days in the year. It is a STATUE FOR EVER THROUGHOUT YOUR GENERATIONS; you shall celebrate it in the seventh month. You shall dwell in huts seven days; ALL THE HOUSE OF YISRA’EL SHALL DWELL IN HUTS (BOOTHS). That your generations may know that I made the children of Yisra’el to dwell in huts (booths) when I brought them out of the land of Egypt; I am YAHWEH your ELOHIM.”

And you shall celebrate a FEAST of YAHWEH of seven days, fire offerings, a pleasing scent for YAHWEH. Column 29:10 “The EIGHTH DAY, there shall be an assembly for you. All laborious work you shall not do on it.”

Numbers 29:12-35 (Aramaic)

“And on the fifteenth day of the seventh month you have a set-apart gathering, you do NO MANNER OF HARD WORK, and you shall keep a FEAST to YAHWEH seven days, and you shall bring near a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, a SWEET FRAGRANCE to YAHWEH: thirteen young bulls, two rams, fourteen lambs a year old, perfect ones they are, and their grain offering: fine flour mixed with oil, three-tenth parts for each of the thirteen bulls, two-tenth parts for each of the two rams, and one-tenth part for each of the fourteen lambs, and one male goat as a iniquity offering, besides the continual burnt offering, its grain offering, and its drink offering. (The number of bulls decrease by “one” each day) verse 32 Then on the seventh day: seven bulls, two rams, fourteen lambs a year old, perfect ones…” Verse 35 “On the EIGHTH DAY you shall have a solemn assembly, you shall do NO MANNER OF HARD WORK; but you shall offer burnt offerings, a sacrifice made by fire, of a SWEET SAVOR TO YAHWEH, one bullock, one ram, and four lambs of the first year without blemish…”

As with all the animal sacrifices that are mentioned in the Old Covenant including all of those on the Appointed Times/Feast Days, we have been given a gift by our Father YAHWEH in YESHUA Who is the Lamb of YAHWEH who takes away the iniquities of the world and offered Himself with His blood and not the blood of bulls and goats. YESHUA fulfills the animal offerings for us with His blood and is the sweet fragrance that YAHWEH mentions:

Ephesians 5:2

“And walk in love, as Mashiach (Messiah) also has loved us, and gave Himself for us, a gift and an offering to YAHWEH for a SWEET-SMELLING FRAGRANCE.”

Hebrews 9:12-14

“And He (YESHUA) did not enter with the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood He entered in once into the set-apart place, and obtained for us EVERLASTING SALVATION. For if the blood of goats and calves and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who were defiled cleansed them even to the cleansing of their flesh, how much more will the blood of Messiah, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to ELOHIM, purify our conscience from dead works so that we may serve the living ELOHIM? For this cause He became the mediator of the New Covenant and by His death He became salvation for those who transgressed the old covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of eternal inheritance.”

More on Sukkot:

Mathew 17:1-4 (Hebrew)

“And after six days YESHUA took Peter, and James, and John his brother, and brought them up onto one exceeding high mountain, the figure (His figure)  was changed before them, and the form of His face shone like the sun, and His garment was like snow. Then Moses and Elijah appeared to Him, talking with Him. And Peter said to YESHUA, “My Master, it is good for us to be here. If You want, let us make here three TENTS, one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”

As we see Peter knew the importance of the tent/booth/sukkah and wanted to build one for all three of them.

Hosea 12:9 (Aramaic)

“But I am YAHWEH your ELOHIM since the land of Egypt, again I shall make you dwell in TENTS as in the days of the SOLEMN FEASTS.”

Genesis 33:17 (Samaritan)

“And Jacob departed to Sakkoota (Sukkot), and built himself a house, and made BOOTHS (Sukkah) for his livestock. That is why the name of the place is called Sukkote.”

Jonah 4:5 (Aramaic)

“So Jonah went out of the city, and sat on the east side of the city, and there made a BOOTH (Sukkah) for himself, and sat under it in the shade to see what would happen to the city.”

The word booth in both Genesis 33 and Jonah 4:5 is the same word in Strong’s #5521 which is “Sukkah” pronounced (soo-kah) a shelter, or temporary dwelling.” The same sukkah we are dwell in for 7 days.

How are we to celebrate this Feast?

We can look to how the Israelites celebrated Sukkot the Feast of Tabernacles in the days of Nehemiah when they returned from Babylonian exile and studying the scriptures to walk in Torah as we are commanded.

Nehemiah 8:13-18 (Aramaic)

"On the second day were gathered together the chiefs of all the fathers of all the people, the priests and the Levites, to Ezra the scribe, to understand from him the word of the Torah. And they found it written in the Torah which YAHWEH had commanded by Moses that the children of Yisra’el should DWELL IN BOOTHS (Sukkah) in the FEAST of the month of October (Reference to the month of the Feast of Tabernacles). And that they should hear everything which Moses wrote in the book of the Torah; and the heralds proclaimed throughout all the towns and in Jerusalem, saying, Go up to the mountain and bring olive BRANCHES and walnut BRANCHES and PALM BRANCHES and BRANCHES of CITRONS AND BRANCHES of willow trees, and make BOOTHS, as it is written in the Book of the Torah of Moses.” So the people went forth and brought them, and made themselves BOOTHS, everyone upon the roof of his house and in their courts and in the court of the house of YAHWEH and in the street of the water gate and in the street of the gate of Ephraim. And all the people of those who had returned from the captivity made BOOTHS AND DWELT IN THE BOOTHS; for since the days of Yeho’shua (Joshua) the son of Nun to that day the children of Yisra’el had not done so. And there was VERY GREAT GLADNESS. Also day by day, from the first day to the last day, they read in the book of the Torah of YAHWEH. And they CELEBRATED THE FEAST FOR SEVEN DAYS; AND ON THE EIGHTH DAY WAS A SOLMEN ASSEMBLY, ACCORDING TO THAT WHICH IS WRITTEN.”

So we see that Abraham in his day and those who came back from Babylonian exile followed the exact came command of Leviticus 23 which is to REJOICE, DWELL IN BOOTHS FOR 7 DAYS, AND TAKE PALM BRANCHES, LEAFY BRANCHES, WILLOWS OF THE STEAM AND BLESS YAHWEH and hold an assembly on the 8th day. This is the perfect time to make a huge feast, cookout, eat and rejoice! If the world has the mindset to celebrate big on their pagan holidays, then it is our duty to show the world that YAHWEH’s Appointed Times are greater and to be celebrated with joy.

 It’s interesting to note the connection with branches with those that will be standing before YESHUA! They overcame the world and suffering and now will get to rejoice with branches similar to Sukkot.

Revelation 7:9 (Hebrew)

“And after this I saw a great company which one is not able to number, from all the nations standing before the throne and before the Lamb, and they were clothed in white garments, and in their hands were BRANCHES, and they cried out with a great voice and said, “Salvation belongs to YAHWEH and to the Lamb!”

Is the Sukkot/Chag HaSukot: The Feast of Tabernacles important?

Yes! Look not further than this prophetic scripture.

Zechariah 14:16-19 (Aramaic):

“Then the survivors from all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, YAHWEH Almighty, and to celebrate the Festival of Sukkot/Chag HaSukot (Feast of Tabernacles). And it shall be, whosoever will not come up of ALL THE FAMILIES OF THE EARTH to Jerusalem to worship the King, YAHWEH of Hosts, they will have no rain. If the FAMILY OF EGYPT (Egyptian people) do not go up and not come the plague with which YAHWEH will smite the nations that DO NOT COME UP TO KEEP THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES.  This shall be the punishment of EGYPT AND THE PUNISHMENT OF ALL NATIONS THAT DO NOT COME UP TO KEEP THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES.”

As explained in an older messaged titled “Are we rehearsing on earth for what is to come?” We saw that everything we do on earth is a dress rehearsal for the finale and that believers have twisted what Paul was really saying in Colossians 2:16-17! Paul was saying in the Aramaic English New Testament, Let no pagan (unbeliever) judge you for KNOWING THE TRUTH! So we see that when YESHUA comes to reign for 1,000 years on the earth that ALL NATIONS including the Egyptian will have to come up to Jerusalem to celebrate The Festival of Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) or have no rain and plagues. This points exactly to what Paul was saying about the Festivals being “a prophetic shadow of what is to come.” If the entire world will have to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles when YESHUA returns, then how is the law done away with? Or if the law just for the Jews, then why do the ALL NATIONS including the Egyptians having to celebrate it? We know the Egyptians are not native-born Israelites/Jews.

Isaiah 2:2-3 (The 1,000 reign of YESHUA)

“And it shall come to pass in the LAST DAYS, that the mountain of YAHWEH’s house shall be established above the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and ALL NATIONS SHALL LOOK TO IT. And many people shall go and say, Come, let us to up to the mountain of YAHWEH, to the house of the ELOHIM of Jacob; and HE WILL TEACH US OF HIS WAYS (Psalms 119:1, Psalms 103:7), and we will walk in His PATHS: for out of Zion shall go forth the TORAH, and the word of YAHWEH from Jerusalem.”

Micah 4:1-7

“But it shall come to pass in the LATTER DAYS that the mountain of the house of YAHWEH shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and all the people shall gather to it. And many nations shall come and say, Come, let us go up to the mountain of YAHWEH, and to the house of the ELOHIM of Jacob; and He will TEACH US OF HIS WAYS, and we will walk in His paths; for the TORAH shall go forth out of Zion, and the word of YAHWEH from Jerusalem. And He shall judge between many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into sickles; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore. But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and there shall be none to harm them; for the mouth of YAHWEH of hosts has spoken it. For all people will walk everyone in the name of his mighty one, and we will walk in the Name of YAHWEH our ELOHIM for ever and ever. In that day, says YAHWEH, I will gather those who are afar off, and I will bring near those who have been driven out and those whom I have afflicted. And I will make those who have been driven out a remnant, and those who are afar off a strong nation; and YAHWEH SHALL REIGN OVER THEM IN MOUNT ZION from henceforth, even forever.”

During the 1,000 year reign of YESHUA the Torah will still be kept and we see the nations going up to Jerusalem to learn it because it is YAHWEH’s WAYS! The Feast of Tabernacles is the same feast found in the Torah (Leviticus 23) so this is more proof that the Torah is not away with.

Just like when you go camping, you have to pitch a tent to dwell in just like we have to pitch a tent/booth/succah to dwell in during Sukkot the Feast of Tabernacles. So we can see the symbolism and importance of this celebration.

Revelation 21:3

“And I heard a loud voice from the heavens saying, “See, the BOOTH OF ELOHIM is with men, and He shall dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and ELOHIM Himself shall be with them and be their ELOHIM.”

Numbers 1:52

“And the children of Yisra’el shall PITCH THEIR TENTS, everyone by his own CAMP, everyone by his own banner, according to their divisions.”

The Feast of Tabernacles is a foreshadow of YESHUA coming to pitch His tent with us and dwell with us when He returns. He will be our ELOHIM and we will be His people. So let us make every effort to be obedient and rejoice to the King for seven days, dwell in tents/booths and not working on the first and eighth day, HalleluYAH!
