It was supposed to be the end of the world right?

According to David Meade, a Christian numerologist, September 23rd, 2017 was supposed to be without a doubt the end of the world. His prediction sent people panicking, making plans to live out the rest of their days having fun or getting right with The Elohim of Israel. His prediction was on the news and people were posting it on Facebook and also sending chain text messages about the subject. Well, as we all know, September 23rd came and went and guess what? We are all still here and the impending doom did not occur. So how could this be? It is reasons like this that I encourage all believers to read the scriptures for themselves so you will be able to spot a lie or false prophet when they are among you. Yeshua tells us in Mathew 7:15:

"Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves."

Let us look to scripture and examine a few reasons why David Meade never had a shot at predicting end times.

1.     Yeshua says in Mathew 24:36 "But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, NOR THE SON, but only the Father." Did you catch that important quote? Yeshua Himself, the Son of The Almighty YHWH Elohim said that He does not know when the end will be, so how does a human being like David Meade know?

2.     Then in Mathew 24:42-44 Yeshua says "Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect Him". Yeshua drops more hints saying He will come at an hour when no one expects Him; therefore, have your life in order and strive to be as holy and obedient as possible because you are not going to be able to cheat and guess how much time you have to start living for Him. It would be like when you are speeding down the highway until you look ahead and see the state trooper parked on the side, what happens then? We all slow down, in other words be obedient and do the speed limit all the time.

3.     Yeshua also tells us in Mathew 24:15-24 “So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand—let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let no one on the roof of his house go down to take anything out of the house. Let no one in the field go back to get his cloak. How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath. For then there will be a great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now –and never to be equaled again. If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened. At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is The Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!” do not believe it. For false Messiahs and falseprophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect—if that were possible. See, I have told you ahead of time.” Then in verse 27 He says “For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

A few things from the passage is ‘the abomination that causes desolation’ is no one other than the “Anti-Messiah” the devil who will be standing in the ‘holy place’ which is the 3rd temple that has to be rebuilt in Israel. That currently is not possible, because the location which the temple stands is occupied by the Muslims Mosque. Also, Yeshua says false prophets and Messiahs will come and perform signs and miracles that will deceive even the elect, which we also know has not happened yet. Lastly, Yeshua tells us then we will ALL see Him when He returns for the second time and we all know that has not happened yet either.

4.     Then Zechariah 14:3-4 says “Then the LORD will go out and fight against those nations, as He fights in the day of battle. On that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south. ” Just as mentioned from Mathew 24:27 all eyes will see when He comes and His feet will literally stand on the Mount of Olives splitting the mountain into, then He will fight against ALL the nations that rise up to fight against Jerusalem. We all know that all nations have not turned on Israel yet and we have not physically seen Yeshua come down and fight against them.

Therefore, it is safe to say that if the angels don’t know the end times, Yeshua doesn’t know the end times and the few examples listed of prophecies that have not occurred yet in scripture haven’t been fulfilled yet, then how does on determine the end times as David Meade attempted to? Again, let us stand up and fight for the Elohim of Israel in truth.
