YESHUA is The Lamb of YHWH who takes away the sins of the world. Through His blood we have the forgiveness of sins. But after you have accepted Him as your Savior you cannot go backwards and that is something that I see a lot of believers do. Why? You are supposed to become a new creation, born again, and walk in the spirit and not the flesh. You must do all you can to walk in the path of righteousness by obeying His commandments and being saved by the atonement of YESHUA. Satan has tried to convince us that we can blatantly and willfully sin and it’s okay. But YHWH says in Ezekiel 18:24
“But when a righteous one turns away from his righteousness and does unrighteousness, according to all the abominations that the wicked one has done, shall he live? All his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered. For his trespass which he has committed, and for his sin which he has committed, for them he shall die.”
Many followers of YESHUA know what the word of Elohim says but then sin intentionally and say “He knows my heart or He will always forgive me.” According to the passage in Ezekiel, this is not true. Elohim can choose to show favour upon you if He desires, but the passage clearly says that persons righteousness he did before will not be remembered. Which is why were are supposed to meditate on His Word because they are Living Words. As YESHUA said “man shall not live on bread alone, but every Word of YHWH.”
So for example if you had a tattoo when you were 16 in your rebellious stage of life or did not know better I’m sure that will be forgiven, because you did not know YESHUA and His ways. However; I see Pastors and those who call themselves devout followers in the faith continually going out and get tattoos.
Most believers today feel that we cannot out sin Elohim’s grace and that through YESHUA we are “once saved, always saved” therefore, giving them a license to sin. This is lawlessness and a deception that Satan has brought into the church. He has gotten majority of the world to say the law is done away with and when that happens, believers will start compromising His word to justify their actions. And once you compromise on one of His commandments it becomes a domino effect, and the next thing you know you have become lawless and look like the rest of the world and not set apart, this is self-assimilation.
This is exactly what Satan wants especially from those who follow The Messiah! It took one lie to get Eve to question her immortality and to pass to fruit to Adam to get them banished from the garden and the downfall of man. And Satan is still using his cunning tactics to this very day. And tattoos is a big one.
. In Leviticus 19:28 YHWH says
“And do not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor put tattoo marks on you. I am YHWH.”
Why is YHWH so serious about us not putting tattoos on our bodies? Firstly, our bodies are not our own. We were purchased at a price by the blood of YESHUA and the Holy Spirit dwells within you. And anything that goes against the Word of YHWH will grieve the Holy Spirit the Ruach ha’Kodesh.
Ephesians 4:30 says
“And do not grieve the Ruach ha’Kodesh of Elohim, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.”
1 Corinthians 6:20
“For you were bought with a price, therefore esteem Elohim in your body and in your spirit, which are of Elohim.”
1 Corinthians 7:23
“You were bought with a price, do not become slaves of men.”
Romans 12:1-2
“I call upon you, therefore, brothers, through the compassion of Elohim, to present your bodies as living offering-holy, well-pleasing to Elohim-your reasonable worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you prove what is that good and well-pleasing and perfect desire of Elohim.” We are not to be like this world or be changed by it, we are to be the lights of the world and not even look like this world. Yet, believers are keeping one foot in the world to justify the flesh and want to follow YESHUA at the same time and Paul disagrees with that stance as does James.
James 4:4
“Adulterers and adulteresses do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with Elohim? Whoever therefore intends to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy with Elohim.”
Ties to paganism
The pagans during ancient times were getting tattoos of the name of their pagan deities on their bodies and YHWH called the believers in Him to be separate from the ways of the world. That is the reason why He drove the nations out of the land of Canaan for their abominable practices. Deuteronomy 18:9
“When you come into the land which YHWH your Elohim is giving you, do not learn to do according to the abominations of those gentiles.”
These demonic tattoos are used as portals to invite demons into your lives even though you cannot see it. It’s similar to listening to secular music (spell casting) vibrations and chants that are subliminally being heard by your sub-conscious even though you cannot hear it, which is opening up a demonic portal or gateway.
Ties to the occult?
In an article written by Jessilyn Lancaster on 6/2/16 titled “Ex-Witch: How tattoos relate to Occultic Blood Rituals
As old-school theologians and hipster believers debate the biblical commands not to tattoo the body, a deeper truth lurks.
Ex-witch Beth, who herself has a handful of tattoos, says one cannot ignore the similarities to occult blood rituals.
"A blood ritual is a satanic ritual that is done as a covenant or pact. There are at least two people involved in this type of ritual. The person who is shedding their own blood, and the person who is invoking a demon and its power," Beth writes on her blog, The Other Side of Darkness.
"The person who is shedding their blood is the recipient in this transaction. They are giving their blood (life) in order to receive some sort of benefit, such as life, prosperity, fame, fortune or power. The cuts are now an open doorway for the entrance of evil spirits (demons) (that) you have granted permission. By agreeing to and participating in the shedding of your blood, you have (given) the devil a right to you. Often people who participate in a blood ritual also give over rights to future generations," she continues.
Beth recognizes a tattooed body is not necessarily one and the same as blood rituals. Even Christians who passionately serve Jesus have tattoos to mark their faith.
But one cannot ignore the parallels between tattoos and blood rituals.
"However, you are piercing your skin with a needle between 50 to 300 times a minute. You are also shedding your blood, and you are making a choice to pierce your skin and shed your blood," Beth writes.
"You also have to consider the person who is doing the tattoo. Where are they at religiously or spiritually? If they are another religion or hold spiritual beliefs of the New Age or occult, what does the tattoo mean to them? The one who holds the tattoo gun is the one who is shedding your blood. That is a very powerful position over you. If they are praying over you to their god or goddess, how does that affect you while you are openly submitting to them shedding your blood? Does it really matter if your tattoo is of a cross or a Bible verse in this case?"
Now we can understand why YHWH said “Not to make cuts in your flesh” because the cuts are a doorway to demonic spirits and the tattoos themselves is the shedding of blood for the ritual. Satan knows Scripture and he knows how YHWH feels about it, so he cunningly has gotten the world to make it a fad and say it’s cool, completely ignoring what YHWH says.
Leviticus 17:11 YHWH says “The life is in the blood”. Which is why YHWH told us not to eat the blood of animals (yes vampirism too). And also why YESHUA’s atonement is so critical because His blood was shed for us and His blood was perfect and pure that saved all humanity.
Satan knows the life is in the blood which is why he gets musicians to sign their name in blood on his music contracts, because you are essentially “signing” your life over to the evil one as I explained in the section “Am I listening to satanic music part 2.” YHWH gave us these guidelines and instructions because He loves us and they protect us. His Torah is Living Words for your benefit, not His. Even if you received a cross or something religious it still goes against his command. Just because we feel that it is right in our own eyes and say that we are doing it for Him; does not justify the situation. 1 Samuel 15:3
“Now go, and you shall smite Amaleq and put under the ban all that he has, and you shall not spare them, and put to death from man to woman, from infant to nursing child, from ox to sheep, from camel to donkey.” Verse 9-15 says
“But Saul and the people spared Agag and the best of the sheep, and the cattle, and the fatlings, and the lambs, and all that was good, and would not put them under the ban. But all goods despised and worthless, that they put under the ban. And the word of YHWH came to Samuel, saying, I am grieved that I have appointed Saul as king, for he has turned back from following Me, and has not performed My Words.” And it displeased Samuel, and he cried to YHWH all night. And Samuel rose early in the morning to meet Saul, and it was told to Samuel, saying, Saul went to Karmel, and see, he put up a monument for himself, then turned and passed over and went down to Gilgal.” And Samuel came to Saul, and Saul said to him, “Blessed are you of YHWH! I have performed the word of YHWH.” But Samuel said, “What then is this bleating of the sheep in my ears, and the lowing of the cattle which I hear?” And Saul said, “They have brought them from Amaleq, because the people spared the best of the sheep and the cattle, to slaughter to YHWH your Elohim. And the rest we have put under the ban”
YHWH strictly commanded Saul to kill all people and all cattle. Saul took it upon himself to save the best sheep and cattle to offer it before YHWH, thinking he was doing the right thing, but YHWH saw it as rebellion because he did not OBEY! YHWH rejected Saul as king for his disobedience and this is how YHWH views rebellion.
1 Samuel 15:23
“For rebellion is as the sin of divination, and stubbornness is as wickedness and idolatry. Because you have rejected the Word of YHWH, He also rejects you as king.”
Now as I mentioned earlier, if you got a tattoo out of ignorance or were young then we have a merciful Elohim who is here for us, repent and be made new in Him. But willingly going against His Word is rebellion and your body is not your own no matter how many people say your skin is a canvas for art.
Do not be deceived into thinking that you can put a religious tattoo on your body to praise Elohim because He simply told us not to do it. All the pagan cultures were doing the exact same thing to their pagan deities; therefore, you are not doing anything to set yourself apart from the ways of the world.
If you have any tattoos I say repent to YESHUA and ask for forgiveness for going against His Word and to break any curse in case any blood covenant was made that you are unaware of. As Paul said in Ephesians 6 we are at war with spiritual wickedness in the heavens and not the flesh. Break that chain or curse of Satan and do not get anymore! Follow YESHUA and keep the Commandments because He loves you, but the lawless will not inherit His Kingdom. Revelation 22:14
“Blessed are those doing His Commands, so that the authority shall be theirs unto the tree of life, and to enter through the gates into the city.”
